Realtor website design example

Scott A Jacobs works with Green Crown Real Estate in Grand Rapids and describes himself as a Realtor, Broker, Advisor and Notary serving clients throughout Michigan. He came to property after a long leadership role at a Fortune 500 company.

The design is calm and businesslike. White carries the pages, a slate blue-gray confirmed in the site markup as #4C586B holds the structure, and a bright blue is kept for interactive elements. The warmest moment is the contact section, headed "LET’S GRAB COFFEE".

The homepage moves through a three-item "COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES" block, an about section beside his portrait, a gated guide download, reviews, then the contact block. It is a short, orderly page rather than an endless scroll.

Color separates structure from action. The slate blue-gray holds headings and furniture together, and the bright blue is reserved for things you can click, so a visitor learns the rule without being told. A warm taupe softens what is left.

The realtor behind the website

His about page describes completing a long-term leadership role at a Fortune 500 company, then searching for work that felt purposeful and coming back repeatedly to real estate.

He writes that he joined Green Crown for its team model, and that his career has involved negotiating at a substantial scale. The service copy on the homepage is built directly on that negotiation background.

Who this website is a good example for

  • Career changers. The previous career is the pitch, not a footnote. If you arrived from another field, this is how to make that history the reason someone should trust you.

  • Anyone building an email list. A guide called "How To Make Your Home Market-Ready" sits behind a short form with name, email and a terms checkbox. Simple, and the thing being traded for is worth having.

  • Agents with a wide territory. The Search Listings page uses a community selector covering nineteen areas including Lake Michigan Waterfront, which keeps a broad service area out of the navigation.

Realtor website design ideas

  • Reserve one color for interaction. Slate blue-gray builds the page and bright blue means clickable. Visitors work it out in seconds and stop hunting for links.

  • Gate something genuinely useful. A market-ready guide for sellers is worth an email address. Make the trade fair and people take it.

  • Use a selector, not a mega menu. Nineteen communities behind one control beats nineteen menu items, and it keeps the header calm.

  • Warm up the contact section. "Let’s grab coffee" with a QR code and direct contact details lands better than a block labeled Contact. Tone is free to change.
