New: Pause Online Reservations in One Click

With Pause reservations, restaurants can quickly stop new online bookings for a defined period (up to 24 hours) whenever capacity is reached. Reservations before and after the pause remain available, so guests can still plan ahead. Readiness indicators give diners a clear view of when the restaurant is accepting bookings again, helping them convert at the right moment.

Passkeys enable secure log in using authentication already built into devices, like Face ID, fingerprint recognition, or a device PIN. No passwords to remember, type or reset.
Why switch to passkeys?
Effortless access – Log in as easily as unlocking a phone
Stronger security – Resistant to phishing and eliminates password reuse risks
Fewer support issues – No more password resets or lockouts
Built for modern devices – Works smoothly across phones, tablets and desktops
With passkeys, you’re not just improving login-in—you’re removing friction and raising security standards.

Take table reservations direct from Google
.png)

Table Reservations now supports Reserve with Google V2, so guests can book directly from Google Search and Maps—no extra steps.
When your setup meets the required criteria—connected integration, automatic approval enabled, no prepayment, no required custom fields, and availability in a supported country—bookings are completed within Google and automatically synced with Wix.
If these conditions aren’t met, guests will follow the existing V1 flow and be redirected to complete their reservation.
The Reserve with Google settings screen indicates which version is currently active. Reservations made through Google are labeled for easy identification. For V2 users, guest notifications are handled by Google by default.

You get advanced SEO infrastructure out of the box, with complex markup handled automatically in the background. No manual setup, no code and no extra effort—just clearer, more discoverable blog posts.

FAQs
How often do Wix and Wix Studio release new product updates and features?
Our development cycle is built for high velocity, providing a steady stream of everything from minor efficiency boosters to major design and AI capabilities. We’re constantly working to improve our platforms, releasing updates as soon as they are ready to ensure you always have access to the latest web technology.
Where can I see the upcoming Wix and Wix Studio product roadmaps?
You can find our future product plans under the Planned Ahead section of this page. We believe in transparency as a core value, giving you the visibility you need to plan ahead.
Can I suggest a new feature or give feedback on a recent release?
We value your input and use it to shape the future of our platforms. If you are a logged-in Wix Studio user, you can submit your ideas via the Request a Feature button located in the Planned Ahead section of this page, or via the feedback fold located just above this FAQ section. Your insights help our product teams prioritize the tools that will have the biggest impact on your work.
A feature I requested is not in the roadmap. Why?
Our roadmap prioritizes initiatives that align with our core strategic goals for our platforms. While we review every request we receive, we focus on high-impact features that serve the broadest range of professional creators and ensure overall platform quality. If a specific request isn’t listed on the roadmap, it might still be under internal evaluation or determined to be outside our current product scope.
What is the difference between a New releases and Planned ahead?
New releases highlight products and features that are already live and ready for you to use. Planned ahead represents our future roadmap—initiatives currently in development or scheduled for release in the coming months. This distinction helps you balance what you’re working on now with longer-term strategic planning for your agency or brand.
How can I stay notified about real-time updates?
The most efficient way to stay informed is by checking this page regularly.
For Wix updates, you can check the Updates for you section in your Wix.com dashboard.
For Wix Studio updates, you can also check the News center in your Wix Studio Workspace. We also share major milestones over at the Studio Community and in our dedicated newsletters to ensure you never miss a release.
