Does Wix provide email hosting? Is wix a domain registrar? What is a good business email address A great business email makes it easy for everyone to see exactly who you are and where you’re coming from. It connects your name to your company domain name and keeps things professional. When you choose a format that’s easy to type and remember, you ensure your messages get to the right place and stay out of the spam folder. Stick to a simple structure that works for your whole team and skip the nicknames or random numbers. What makes a good email address Clarity:  Displays the sender’s name so clients, partners and colleagues instantly know who the email is from. Skip the extra numbers, symbols or confusing abbreviations. Brand alignment:  Uses your company domain to make every email look official and reinforce your business identity. This builds recognition and professionalism. Professional tone:  Avoids nicknames, casual words, or special characters that can appear unprofessional and confusing. Memorability:  Easy to spell, type and recall so people can reach you without mistakes or delays. Consistency:  Uses the same format across your team to keep emails clean and organized and avoid confusion. Deliverability:  A clear, simple email format reduces the risk of being flagged as spam and makes sure your messages land in inboxes. Simple format:  Sticks to easy predictable patterns like first.last, first initial + last name or role-based addresses like info@company.com to keep things straightforward and easy to type. Business email address format Your business email address should clearly show who the sender is and how they relate to your company. Certain email formats are popular because they keep your organization consistent while making emails professional, recognizable and easy to manage as your business grows. Common business email addresses Name-based email addresses:  Give your emails a personal touch by using an individual’s name. This works great for client-facing roles and one-on-one conversations because it’s clear who’s sending the message. It also helps people remember and reply to the right person. Examples: emily.rivera@company.com, j.taylor@company.co Role-based email addresses:  These emails are tied to a job title not a specific person. They’re great for shared inboxes and making sure messages always get to the right place even if your team members change. Plus they show who’s in charge of what. Examples: ceo@company.com, hr@company.co Department-based email addresses:  Keep your team’s messages organized with a department address. They’re perfect for managing both client and internal emails and help keep everything flowing smoothly in larger teams. Examples: marketing@company.com, support@company.io Project-based email addresses:  Create an email for a specific project campaign or product. This helps you track all related messages and keeps your main inbox from getting cluttered. It also makes it simple to look back at past projects. Examples: campaign2026@company.com, productx@company.co General contact email addresses:  This is your business's front door for anyone trying to get in touch. A general email is simple professional and easy to remember making it perfect for first-time inquiries or general messages. Examples: info@company.com, hello@company.co Learn more: Common industry domain names How to get a business email address? Getting a business email address is simple and starts with securing your domain. Your domain is the part that comes after the “@” in your email like yourcompany.com and it makes your email look professional and credible. Once you have a domain you can set up email accounts through your web hosting provider or an email service. If you use Wix, setting up a business email is easy and works seamlessly with your website. Wix partners with Google Workspace to help you create professional email addresses using your domain. This gives your email a polished, credible look and includes tools like Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar and more to keep your team connected and organized. Learn more: How to make a business website How to start a business Business email address FAQ What email should I use for my LLC? Go with an email that matches your LLC’s domain. Skip the nicknames, extra numbers or complicated symbols that make your address hard to type. It's also a good idea to stay away from slang or overly casual words that might feel a bit off to your clients and partners. Can I open a business email for free? Of course you can. Free email providers offer basic plans with limited storage and features. Paid plans give you more storage, advanced tools and added credibility making them a better choice for growing businesses. What is an unprofessional email name? An unprofessional email name is one that uses nicknames, slang or irrelevant numbers. Anything that looks too casual or confusing can make you seem less credible to clients and partners. Which email is best for a small business? A single domain can cover all your emails and keep your branding consistent.

  • Business domain names: The most common industry domains

The perfect domain is just a click away: claim your domain →   Different industries need different domains. A tech startup, a wellness clinic or an online shop can benefit from domain extensions that align with their audience and purpose. So what are the most common industry domains, and how do you choose the one that fits your business best? TL;DR: the most common industry domains Your domain name extension can tell people a lot about your business before they even get to your site. Some extensions are super familiar while others can clarify your industry, location or focus. Choosing the right one is about balancing recognition, relevance and ease of use, all while thinking about your long-term goals. What you'll learn: The go-to domain extensions for any industry How specific TLDs help people understand your business Why .com might be better than a niche option The perks of location-based domains for local success What really builds trust and helps people find you online Secure your perfect domain in just a few clicks with Wix. What are industry domains? Industry domains are domain extensions tied to a specific field or type of business. Instead of using a general option like .com, you use an extension that reflects what you do, such as .tech for software companies, .shop for retail or .health for healthcare services. The extension itself adds context so people understand your business before they even visit the site. These domains help clarify your focus, especially when your business name is broad or abstract. For example, northstar.consulting signals professional services while northstar.media points to content or production. It’s often easier to find short available names which makes it popular with startups, tech companies and emerging brands. Because it isn’t tied to a specific niche or location, .xyz is great for businesses that plan to grow or evolve over time. It might not feel as familiar as .com but it signals originality and works perfectly for digital-first and innovation-focused brands. 04. .info The  .info  domain extension was created for informational websites, making it a popular choice for  starting a blog  and educational sites. It's also affordable, making it an appealing option for small businesses on a budget. Wix makes domain transfer  easy, with free SSL, reliable hosting, privacy options and 24/7 support. A thoughtfully chosen domain name directly impacts a brand’s exposure. " - Karen Friedlander, product marketing manager at Wix Tips for choosing the perfect domain name  With so many extensions and options available, making the right choice comes down to strategy. Keep these points in mind to ensure your domain represents your brand effectively and resonates with your target audience. Read also: 23 business owners share their worst domain naming mistakes Keep it short and memorable  Avoid long or complicated domain names. A concise domain is easier for users to remember and type. Ideally, keep it under three words.  Reflect your brand  Your domain name is a representation of your business. Use your company name, combine it with a relevant keyword, or pick something that highlights your unique value proposition.  Choose the right extension  Always aim for an extension that matches your business’s goals and industry. Start with .com for universal recognition but don’t hesitate to explore niche extensions if they better align with what you do.  Make it easy to spell and pronounce  Complex spellings can confuse potential visitors and lead to missed traffic. Always test your domain to ensure it’s intuitive to spell and say.  Prioritize uniqueness  Steer clear of names similar to existing brands to avoid confusion or legal issues. Use resources like  a domain name search tool  to ensure your choice is available and unique.  Consider SEO implications  Keywords in domain names can improve your website’s ranking, especially for local businesses or niche services. But focus on clarity first; overly keyword-stuffed names can come across as spammy.  Use a domain name generator  Stuck for ideas? Tools like the  Wix domain name generator  can provide creative suggestions based on your business name or industry keywords.  Ready to jumpstart your business? Try our website builder  for free. When to use niche vs general TLDs A .com is still the most recognized and trusted domain extension making it the go-to for businesses targeting a broad audience. It’s ideal if your brand relies on credibility and memorability especially for consumer-facing products or services. But niche TLDs can add context and clarity. For example a designer using studio.design immediately communicates the service offered while a financial advisor using invest.finance signals expertise. Niche TLDs also help if your preferred .com is taken letting you create a shorter more meaningful domain. When choosing consider your audience’s familiarity with niche TLDs. Avoid TLDs that are uncommon or confusing; a highly creative extension might look clever but reduce recall and type-in traffic. Test your domain with friends or colleagues to ensure it’s easy to spell and communicate verbally especially for extensions that aren’t yet mainstream. Learn more: Best domain name registrars What are the custom domains How much does a domain name cost Local or country-specific domains Country code TLDs (ccTLDs) like .uk .ca or .de are great when your business operates mainly in one region. They tell users your services are local which builds trust and can influence their decisions. They also improve local SEO since search engines prioritize ccTLDs for searches in that country. For example a UK eCommerce store using shop.co.uk may rank better for UK-based queries than shop.com and a Canadian clinic using wellness.ca signals both trustworthiness and locality. Local domains also work well when combined with industry-specific TLDs. A Canadian fitness studio could use training.fit.ca blending industry relevance with a clear regional focus. If you're running a multi-region business you might want to register multiple ccTLDs and redirect them to your main domain. This helps you capture traffic in different markets without creating duplicate content issues. It’s a good idea to stay on top of renewals DNS and privacy for multiple ccTLDs to prevent accidental loss or confusion. Learn more: Domain name statistics What is domain authority How to build a website Common industry domain names FAQ What’s the difference between domain extensions like .com, .org, and .net? These extensions indicate your site’s purpose and sometimes its target audience. For example, . com vs .org vs .net  can highlight different uses: .com is ideal for general-purpose businesses, .org works best for non-profits, and .net is favored by tech companies. Is it okay to use newer or less common extensions? Yes, as long as the extension aligns with your brand and audience. For example, a creative agency might benefit from a  new top-level domain  like .studio more than .com because it directly communicates their niche. What’s the best domain extension for a small business? .com is still the safest choice because people recognize it instantly and trust it by default. If it’s unavailable, alternatives like .co or a clear industry extension can work as long as the name is easy to remember and type. Should I use an industry TLD? Industry TLDs like .shop, .design or .health add instant context and help explain what you do. They work best when your audience already understands the extension and your business focus is unlikely to change soon. Are some domain extensions confusing or risky? Less familiar extensions can confuse people or look untrustworthy, especially if your audience isn't in the tech or startup world. The risk here is about how people see your brand and if they can easily remember your name. Do domain names affect SEO? Your extension won't directly boost your search rankings but a clear and relevant domain can get you more clicks and build brand recognition. Search engines care more about the quality of your content and your site's authority than the TLD you choose. Are certain extensions more trusted by users? Yes. For most people, .com, .org and .net are still the most trusted extensions. Niche extensions can build trust too, but only when they clearly match your industry and feel like a deliberate choice.

  • Why we built Wix Harmony

These are exciting times for us as a company. Launching a new platform like Wix Harmony , our brand new flagship AI website builder, is not something that happens over night. It takes creating and testing and changing technology until you get it exactly right for our users, without compromising quality. Those of you who know me know that every night when the kids go to sleep, I play my video games, read about new things (ideas, technologies, science, etc.) and test products that I find interesting. Since the founding of Wix 20 years ago, I’m still excited to go to work every morning. I’m still close to the code and spend my time trying to sit in our users’ chair, feel their pain points and then design and build the most advanced and timely products. For a while I’ve been playing around with vibe coding tools, and every time I tried to build a website with the functionality and design that I wanted, I failed. It just wasn’t good enough. Very quickly you fall into a place where it doesn't work anymore and get to a point where it just breaks. I wasn't able to get an excellent result, or even a good one, and when trying to make anything a bit complex, it was even worse. Website functionality is mostly predefined. It must be ready for production with high performance, reliability and strong security, legal requirements for privacy like GDPR, cookie banners and even more laws for accessibility, etc. That is before very complex stuff like payment transactions, scheduling, taxes, support for SEO and now also GEO. That's when I realized what the future of web creation needs to look like, and the commitment we have to bring this to our users. We know our users, what they need and how to build the precise technology for them. Wix Harmony is our answer: an AI website builder that puts them in the driver’s seat with the flexibility and power of vibe coding to create exactly the websites they want in this new era of web creation. A different architecture, not just another feature Wix Harmony is not “AI sprinkled on top” of the old Wix editor. We completely changed the architecture so that vibe coding and visual editing work harmoniously together on the same project. You can prompt Wix Harmony and ask it to create a full page, a new section or a component. Then you immediately refine it with full drag-and-drop control, pixel by pixel, exactly like we perfected in Wix. Underneath, everything sits on Wix’s industry-leading infrastructure. The same one that already supports hundreds of millions of users – advanced commerce, scheduling and heavy traffic, with 99.99% uptime. The key is stability. When you change something in one place, you should not wake up to find that your header is broken, your layout is misaligned or your store stopped working. Wix Harmony keeps the structure consistent across the site, so you can keep evolving your project without fear. This is also why we invested in a proper component model. Components behave like native parts of the editor, but they are isolated so that the logic inside a component can evolve without breaking the whole project. You get the flexibility of vibe coding, with the discipline of a mature platform. AI that actually works with you Aria is the AI agent that works alongside you. You can ask Aria to redesign a page, adjust a color palette, add commerce functionality or help you understand how a specific feature works. This is not a one-time generator that throws code at you and disappears. It is an agent that works with you as you build and maintain your site or business. What makes Wix Harmony unique The true magic is seeing Wix Harmony come to life in the editor. We recorded a few short videos so you can see it in action: A full drag-and-drop editor combined with vibe website and content creation, so users can work with both at the same time on the same project delivering pixel-perfect design. Fully integrated AI into the editing process, you can ask the AI to build things and explain things in the editor and beyond. Full support for security, accessibility, quality, SEO and GEO and performance, things that are a must for a website, but are extremely hard to build with vibe coding alternatives, even harder, full commerce, scheduling and transactions. The website you build works, it is easy to vibe a part of it, or all of it, without breaking the website, this stability, does not exist with any of the alternatives, when you change one thing, nothing else breaks. A component model, because of the builder architecture, you can add new components to the website and have them integrate like native components. When you edit, the editing is contained inside the component, making it possible to continuously develop functionality without breaking the project or adding bugs like in traditional vibe coding. I truly believe that the combination of these unique advantages make Wix Harmony the most powerful vibe website platform globally. What comes next Wix Harmony is a leap into a different kind of web. For years, websites were mostly static pages. You designed them, published them and hoped people would find them. In the next few years, your website will behave more like an agent: it will talk, listen, act and connect to other agents to get real work done. Wix Harmony gives you a path into that future without asking you to understand the underlying complexity. You start from a simple prompt and get a working site. Then you keep talking to it and editing it, reshaping design, content and flows as your business changes. The structure stays stable, and the hard parts like security, performance, SEO and GEO, payments, scheduling and compliance stay handled. As LLMs become a primary way people access the Internet, Wix Harmony is what lets your website participate in that world. Instead of your business disappearing inside a single AI platform, your site will have its own logic, its own data, its own rules and it will stay under your control. We will keep evolving Wix Harmony toward this vision: richer visuals, live content, deeper automations and websites that feel less like documents and more like living systems that run your business. One principle does not change: AI should not only make it faster to create a website, it should turn your online presence into the most reliable, intelligent part of your business.

  • Wix Harmony and the next chapter in web evolution

When we started Wix 20 years ago, websites weren’t a new idea. Many people and businesses already had one, and those who didn’t, wanted one. The challenge was that building a website on your own was incredibly difficult. Doing it yourself was frustrating and time consuming, while the alternative of hiring a developer or designer was expensive and often out of reach. For most people, creating a website simply wasn’t accessible. That’s where Wix came in. We set out to change that reality by creating a platform that made website creation accessible to anyone. Our goal was to remove the technical and financial barriers, giving non-technical people a clear and intuitive way to build their online presence and actually enjoy the process along the way. A huge step forward came in 2008, when we launched our first Flash-based website editor. For the first time, a drag-and-drop interface allowed anyone to build a website and add widgets without writing a single line of code, opening the door to truly democratizing web creation. That shift defined more than a product milestone. It shaped the foundation of Wix itself. From that moment on, Wix was built around four core competencies that became part of our DNA: Allowing access to very complex technology User-friendly interface to the non-technical user Ensuring beautiful and professional outcomes Making sure the outcome is extremely reliable Together, these principles are what have enabled hundreds of millions of people to access and build on the web in ways they never thought possible. Adapting to evolving technology As technology evolved, so did what it meant to have an online presence. HTML5, mobile, eCommerce, payments, SEO and countless other advancements made websites far more powerful and far more central to running a business. But each leap forward also raised the bar, introducing new complexity and new friction, especially for non-professionals. Throughout that evolution, we continued to grow alongside our users, absorbing that complexity behind the scenes and removing friction at every step. Not by simplifying the business itself, but by simplifying the experience of building and running it so anyone could do it. A new era: AI’s impact on the web Today marks another major shift in the evolution of the web. AI is redefining what websites can do for a business, dramatically expanding their role and impact. As always, progress brings complexity and the challenge remains the same: making powerful technology accessible to everyone. In this new era, website creation needs to be precise, clear and built on trust. With an overwhelming number of AI tools entering the market, users need to immediately understand what truly works, what is reliable and how their ideas turn into a real, functioning website. AI has also introduced a healthy level of skepticism, raising the bar for clarity and credibility. This is where deep understanding of the landscape matters and where experience makes the difference. With AI agents and AI-powered search engines shaping how people discover businesses, showing up in the right way across these new channels is becoming essential. But doing so requires navigating a web of standards, technical details and constant change. This is not something users should have to navigate alone. Just as Wix has done at every major shift of the web, we take on the complexity so our users do not have to. We understand how this new AI-driven ecosystem works, where websites fit within it and how to build for what comes next. As we once democratized website creation, we are now democratizing participation in an AI-powered web. Introducing Wix Harmony Wix Harmony marks the next evolution in how websites are created at Wix. At its core is vibe coding through natural language, allowing users to describe what they want and see it come to life instantly. AI and visual editing work together in a single experience, so users can generate, refine and customize their site without jumping between tools or workflows. Creation is faster and more intuitive, while full control remains firmly in human hands. Unlike many AI-first tools built for quick demos, Wix Harmony is designed for real businesses. AI is native to the platform, not layered on top, so changes are applied consistently across the site. Users can move fluidly between prompting and hands-on design, confident they are building something stable, scalable and ready to grow. Every site runs on Wix’s proven infrastructure, with advanced commerce, payments, SEO and GEO, accessibility and scalability built in by default. As AI evolves and new standards emerge, Wix absorbs the underlying complexity so users can focus on creating and running their business, not managing the machinery behind it. Leading the way for businesses in a changing landscape The future will bring new complexities, accelerated by the rapid pace of AI evolution. While large companies have the resources to keep up, smaller businesses risk falling behind. This is exactly where Wix will continue to play a crucial role by closing the gap, empowering every entrepreneur and ensuring they stay competitive in this fast-changing digital landscape. Wix Harmony reflects our long-term view of how the web will be created: AI-driven, human-directed and built on systems that can support real businesses at scale. Market sentiment may fluctuate, but our focus remains steady: building durable products that help people create, run and grow their business online.

  • Wix Harmony: AI and you, building together

After more than two decades at Wix, I still get that “season opener” feeling on days like today. Launching Wix Harmony isn’t just another release for us. It’s a platform that meets our users exactly where they are. Built with precision, it blends the very best of AI and manual creation in a way that reflects how real people actually build, work and grow. For me, the exciting part is being reminded that every meaningful step we take in technology starts with our users, and the value we deliver them. At Wix, we’ve always been obsessed with one thing: empowering people to build online in a way that’s beautiful, powerful and drives their business forward. No matter how advanced our solutions become, we still believe that creation should feel natural and limitless. The AI shift hasn't changed this philosophy; it’s accelerated it. I’m constantly pushing our teams to leverage AI internally to find more efficient ways to create better results, and we are fueled by that exact same mission for our users. By delivering them the most sophisticated, tailor-made AI tools, our users can move faster and build incredible websites with even more confidence and efficiency. If you look at our evolution here at Wix, it’s like a winning football team that evolves its playbook season after season. To stay at the top, it is all about the roster, the play calls and the ability to adjust at halftime. In 2008, we started with “Free Website” because the first step was obvious: open the gates and let everyone in. Then we added “Stunning,” because aesthetics are not vanity; design converts. By 2012, we leaned into “Easy”, because if it isn’t approachable, it doesn’t scale. In 2017, we added “Professional” to speak to agencies and studios. We had to earn the right to talk to professionals. That word wasn’t a tagline; it was a promise that you could build to an elite standard on Wix. Today, with Wix Harmony, we're making creation truly “Natural” and “Limitless.” You can move faster than ever before, in a way that feels comfortable to you and shape the exact vision you have in mind. Wix Harmony removes that compromise, giving efficiency, flexibility and full creative freedom in a single platform. What I love about Wix Harmony is that it’s not a cold automation tool. It’s playful and intuitive, perfectly blending AI and human creativity. You can vibe code your idea and watch it materialize, then refine every detail manually. At any moment you can take the reins and dial in on any pixel, so every section, interaction and element is under your direct control. You can build at a speed that was unimaginable just a few years ago, while your final site precisely reflects your voice, your goals and your standards. Wix Harmony marks a new era for web creation. It closes the gap between imagination and execution in a creation experience that feels as natural as thinking.

Choose the right health blog niche Selecting the right blog niche is a pivotal step when creating a health blog to support your business. A focused niche helps you tailor your content to a specific audience, plus positions you as an expert in a particular area of health and wellness. Here are five potential health-related blog niches to consider: Fitness and workouts: Create a blog dedicated to fitness routines, workout tips and exercise regimens. Cover topics like strength training, cardio workouts, yoga and home-based exercises. Provide guidance on achieving fitness goals, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and preventing injuries. Nutrition and health eating: Focus on nutrition and the importance of a balanced diet. Offer insights into meal planning, recipes, superfoods and dietary guidelines. Address specific dietary needs, such as vegetarianism, veganism or gluten-free diets. Mental health and well-being: Address the crucial aspect of mental health and emotional well-being. Write about stress management, mindfulness, meditation, coping strategies and overall mental wellness. Offer advice for maintaining a healthy mind-body connection. Provide a platform for discussions on women's unique health concerns, and empower them with accurate information. Sleep optimization: Explore the importance of sleep and strategies to improve sleep quality. Discuss sleep disorders, bedtime routines, relaxation techniques and creating a conducive sleep environment. 02. Find a blog maker Selecting the right blogging platform is a critical step in launching your health blog. You’ll want to choose a blog maker that both simplifies the process of creating your blog and provides other essential capabilities. Here's what to look out for: Opt for a blog maker that includes integrated web hosting . This eliminates the need to find a separate hosting provider, streamlining the setup process. Additionally, look for a platform that offers 24/7 security measures to protect your blog from potential threats and cyberattacks. Opt for a blog that offers the right blog templates. A well-designed blog layout, easy navigation and visually appealing elements contribute to a positive user experience. You’ll want to be able to find a template that suits your niche, and customize it by adding your logo, adjusting colors and arranging content elements as part of your blog design efforts. Opt for a blog that allows you to reinforce your branding. A consistent and cohesive brand presence helps readers recognize and connect with your content. Your branding (as it relates to design) includes elements like colors, fonts, imagery and your blog logo. You can use a logo maker to design a professional logo that aligns with your blog's theme, incorporate health-related symbols, soothing colors or typography that reflects the tone of your blog. Opt for a blog maker that supports privacy and compliance needs.  If your health blog collects personal or health-related information, it’s important to follow regulations like HIPAA (the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), which protects sensitive patient data. Choosing a platform that supports HIPAA-compliant features helps ensure information is handled securely, especially when using contact forms, intake forms or online consultations. When it comes to starting a health blog, Wix is a popular and free website builder that offers an all-in-one solution for creating and hosting your blog. It provides a user-friendly interface, customizable blog templates , in-built hosting and enterprise-grade security, making it an excellent choice for beginners. Did you know? Wix is HIPAA compliant.  This makes Wix a secure and reliable option for nurses and other healthcare professionals who handle patient data, so you can create your site with confidence and maintain high privacy standards. 03. Select a blog name and domain for your health venture Your health blog's name is often the first impression readers have of your brand. A well-thought-out name can convey your blog's focus and personality, making it easier for readers to understand what your blog is about. When choosing a blog name , consider using a blog name generator for initial thought-starters. A generator can provide creative suggestions based on keywords and themes related to health and wellness. While generated names might not be a perfect fit, they can spark ideas and help you brainstorm. Your domain name should similarly be easy to remember, easy to spell and reflect your blog's identity. Ideally, it should include a relevant keyword or a hint of what your blog is about. Keep it concise and avoid using hyphens or complicated spellings. Before finalizing your domain name, check its availability. If it's unavailable, consider slight variations or use different domain extensions like .net, .co or .health. Examples of health blog names to inspire: VitalWellnessJourney.com FitMindBodySoul.com HealthyLivingHub.net NourishAndThriveHealth.com If you really want your blog to stand out, consider a .blog domain extension . It's a clear and unique way to help your blog and content pop. Remember that your blog's name and domain name are integral parts of your brand identity. They'll be featured in your logo, social media profiles and all your online interactions. Invest time in choosing names that accurately represent your health blog's mission and resonate with your target audience. 04. Write and publish blog content Create a content calendar to organize your topics and publication schedule, ensuring a consistent flow of relevant content, including both evergreen and trending subjects. Opt for topics that offer solutions to frequently asked questions and share insights that highlight your expertise. When it comes to your blog format , structure your blog posts for readability. Use headings, subheadings, bullet points and short paragraphs to break up text. While there's no fixed word count, aim for in-depth content that thoroughly covers the topic. Longer blog posts (around 1,500-2,000 words) tend to perform well in search engines. However, you’ll want to focus on providing value rather than meeting a specific word count. As part of planning how to write your blog articles, don't forget to focus on blog titles that pique your readers' interest but accurately reflect your content. Before publishing, proofread your blog post for spelling, grammar and formatting errors. Consider enhancing your blog posts with multimedia elements, too (e.g., images, infographics and videos). Create a blog post checklist that helps you remember all the things to look out for. Above all, prioritize consistency and quality as you execute on your blog plan. Not competitor-first. Not even brand-first. Don’t get me wrong—those last two things are important. However, you should never lose sight of who’s actually reading your blog. Too often, bloggers work in a bubble and just write what they want to write about or what they think they should write about. They end up missing the point of blogging or content marketing in general: to engage people based on what they want to learn about or want to know about your brand. It’s not about you. It’s about them.” 05. Promote your health blog Use various distribution strategies to proactively get more eyes on your blog. Then, send out regular newsletters containing your latest blog posts, exclusive content and health tips to build a direct connection with your readers. Use guest blogging to collaborate with other health bloggers or websites by contributing guest posts. This exposes your blog to new audiences and establishes your authority in the health community. Also consider participating in health-related forums, groups and online communities. Offer valuable advice, answer questions and share your blog posts when relevant. Building relationships within these communities can drive traffic to your blog and expand your audience reach. Build your site structure A beautiful website won’t succeed if visitors can’t navigate it easily. Start with a clear site structure by creating a sitemap, the blueprint for your pages. Organize content into logical sections that match your goals and audience and update it as you add or move content. Wix, for example, does this automatically. Next, optimize your navigation menu. Aim to let visitors reach any page in three clicks or less. Prioritize key pages like your homepage, services, products and contact information. Use clear categories and subcategories, consider mega menus for large sites or anchor menus for smaller ones and include a clickable logo to return visitors to the homepage. In the Wix editor, add a menu by clicking the “+” on the side panel, selecting “Menu & Anchor” and choosing your style. Expert tip from Adi Huri, product manager at WOW for Wix.com : "Think of the menu as the map of your website. Adding the right pages in the right order can make it the heart of your site’s success." Highlight your most important content, including services, pricing and contact details, and use clear calls to action to guide visitors toward sign-ups, bookings or purchases. Use the footer for extra links, social profiles or legal pages. In Wix, for example, you can drag and drop elements into the footer and resize them as needed. Plan for growth with flexible layouts that make adding new pages or features easy. Regularly review your site structure and navigation to keep it organized and user friendly. A clear structure helps visitors find what they need quickly and encourages engagement by guiding users to explore and take action. Different ways to build a website from scratch In practice, there are several ways to create a website, each with different levels of flexibility, complexity and ongoing responsibility. Understanding these options helps clarify what building a website “from scratch” really involves and which approach best fits your goals. One option is hand-coding a website using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This gives you full control over design and functionality, but it requires technical skills and a significant time investment. You’re also responsible for everything from responsiveness and accessibility to hosting, performance and security. Another approach is using a content management system (CMS) or more advanced setups like static or headless sites. These methods make it easier to manage content or optimize performance, but they still involve technical setup, maintenance and ongoing updates, often becoming more complex as a site grows. Each method has its place depending on your skills, time and long-term needs. For many people, website builders offer a practical balance, making it possible to create a professional website quickly without the technical overhead of building and maintaining everything from scratch. How much does it cost to build a website from scratch? Website costs depend on design, functionality, content, hosting and marketing. Custom designs, advanced features like eCommerce or booking systems, and professional content increase costs, while DIY builders like Wix are more affordable. Hosting and domains vary by provider, but Wix plans include both plus 24/7 support. Marketing often adds more than the website itself, so plan for ongoing promotion. Start small, scale later, DIY where possible and keep content and design updated. How much does it cost to create a website with Wix?
