  • Wix Harmony and the next chapter in web evolution

When we started Wix 20 years ago, websites weren’t a new idea. Many people and businesses already had one, and those who didn’t, wanted one. The challenge was that building a website on your own was incredibly difficult. Doing it yourself was frustrating and time consuming, while the alternative of hiring a developer or designer was expensive and often out of reach. For most people, creating a website simply wasn’t accessible. That’s where Wix came in. We set out to change that reality by creating a platform that made website creation accessible to anyone. Our goal was to remove the technical and financial barriers, giving non-technical people a clear and intuitive way to build their online presence and actually enjoy the process along the way. A huge step forward came in 2008, when we launched our first Flash-based website editor. For the first time, a drag-and-drop interface allowed anyone to build a website and add widgets without writing a single line of code, opening the door to truly democratizing web creation. That shift defined more than a product milestone. It shaped the foundation of Wix itself. From that moment on, Wix was built around four core competencies that became part of our DNA: Allowing access to very complex technology User-friendly interface to the non-technical user Ensuring beautiful and professional outcomes Making sure the outcome is extremely reliable Together, these principles are what have enabled hundreds of millions of people to access and build on the web in ways they never thought possible. Adapting to evolving technology As technology evolved, so did what it meant to have an online presence. HTML5, mobile, eCommerce, payments, SEO and countless other advancements made websites far more powerful and far more central to running a business. But each leap forward also raised the bar, introducing new complexity and new friction, especially for non-professionals. Throughout that evolution, we continued to grow alongside our users, absorbing that complexity behind the scenes and removing friction at every step. Not by simplifying the business itself, but by simplifying the experience of building and running it so anyone could do it. A new era: AI’s impact on the web Today marks another major shift in the evolution of the web. AI is redefining what websites can do for a business, dramatically expanding their role and impact. As always, progress brings complexity and the challenge remains the same: making powerful technology accessible to everyone. In this new era, website creation needs to be precise, clear and built on trust. With an overwhelming number of AI tools entering the market, users need to immediately understand what truly works, what is reliable and how their ideas turn into a real, functioning website. AI has also introduced a healthy level of skepticism, raising the bar for clarity and credibility. This is where deep understanding of the landscape matters and where experience makes the difference. With AI agents and AI-powered search engines shaping how people discover businesses, showing up in the right way across these new channels is becoming essential. But doing so requires navigating a web of standards, technical details and constant change. This is not something users should have to navigate alone. Just as Wix has done at every major shift of the web, we take on the complexity so our users do not have to. We understand how this new AI-driven ecosystem works, where websites fit within it and how to build for what comes next. As we once democratized website creation, we are now democratizing participation in an AI-powered web. Introducing Wix Harmony Wix Harmony marks the next evolution in how websites are created at Wix. At its core is vibe coding through natural language, allowing users to describe what they want and see it come to life instantly. AI and visual editing work together in a single experience, so users can generate, refine and customize their site without jumping between tools or workflows. Creation is faster and more intuitive, while full control remains firmly in human hands. Unlike many AI-first tools built for quick demos, Wix Harmony is designed for real businesses. AI is native to the platform, not layered on top, so changes are applied consistently across the site. Users can move fluidly between prompting and hands-on design, confident they are building something stable, scalable and ready to grow. Every site runs on Wix’s proven infrastructure, with advanced commerce, payments, SEO and GEO, accessibility and scalability built in by default. As AI evolves and new standards emerge, Wix absorbs the underlying complexity so users can focus on creating and running their business, not managing the machinery behind it. Leading the way for businesses in a changing landscape The future will bring new complexities, accelerated by the rapid pace of AI evolution. While large companies have the resources to keep up, smaller businesses risk falling behind. This is exactly where Wix will continue to play a crucial role by closing the gap, empowering every entrepreneur and ensuring they stay competitive in this fast-changing digital landscape. Wix Harmony reflects our long-term view of how the web will be created: AI-driven, human-directed and built on systems that can support real businesses at scale. Market sentiment may fluctuate, but our focus remains steady: building durable products that help people create, run and grow their business online.

  • Wix Harmony: AI and you, building together

After more than two decades at Wix, I still get that “season opener” feeling on days like today. Launching Wix Harmony isn’t just another release for us. It’s a platform that meets our users exactly where they are. Built with precision, it blends the very best of AI and manual creation in a way that reflects how real people actually build, work and grow. For me, the exciting part is being reminded that every meaningful step we take in technology starts with our users, and the value we deliver them. At Wix, we’ve always been obsessed with one thing: empowering people to build online in a way that’s beautiful, powerful and drives their business forward. No matter how advanced our solutions become, we still believe that creation should feel natural and limitless. The AI shift hasn't changed this philosophy; it’s accelerated it. I’m constantly pushing our teams to leverage AI internally to find more efficient ways to create better results, and we are fueled by that exact same mission for our users. By delivering them the most sophisticated, tailor-made AI tools, our users can move faster and build incredible websites with even more confidence and efficiency. If you look at our evolution here at Wix, it’s like a winning football team that evolves its playbook season after season. To stay at the top, it is all about the roster, the play calls and the ability to adjust at halftime. In 2008, we started with “Free Website” because the first step was obvious: open the gates and let everyone in. Then we added “Stunning,” because aesthetics are not vanity; design converts. By 2012, we leaned into “Easy”, because if it isn’t approachable, it doesn’t scale. In 2017, we added “Professional” to speak to agencies and studios. We had to earn the right to talk to professionals. That word wasn’t a tagline; it was a promise that you could build to an elite standard on Wix. Today, with Wix Harmony, we're making creation truly “Natural” and “Limitless.” You can move faster than ever before, in a way that feels comfortable to you and shape the exact vision you have in mind. Wix Harmony puts the creator’s needs at the center, combining AI speed with drag-and-drop precision on top of Wix’s professional-grade, scalable infrastructure. For years, the industry forced a tradeoff: move fast and lose control, or be precise and lose time. Wix Harmony removes that compromise, giving efficiency, flexibility and full creative freedom in a single platform. What I love about Wix Harmony is that it’s not a cold automation tool. It’s playful and intuitive, perfectly blending AI and human creativity. You can vibe code your idea and watch it materialize, then refine every detail manually. You just describe what you want in natural language, and Aria - Wix Harmony’s AI agent - generates full pages, layouts, components and content in seconds. At any moment you can take the reins and dial in on any pixel, so every section, interaction and element is under your direct control. You can build at a speed that was unimaginable just a few years ago, while your final site precisely reflects your voice, your goals and your standards. Wix Harmony marks a new era for web creation. It closes the gap between imagination and execution in a creation experience that feels as natural as thinking.

Choose the right health blog niche Selecting the right blog niche is a pivotal step when creating a health blog to support your business. Here are five potential health-related blog niches to consider: Fitness and workouts: Create a blog dedicated to fitness routines, workout tips and exercise regimens. Cover topics like strength training, cardio workouts, yoga and home-based exercises. Provide guidance on achieving fitness goals, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and preventing injuries. Nutrition and health eating: Focus on nutrition and the importance of a balanced diet. Offer insights into meal planning, recipes, superfoods and dietary guidelines. Address specific dietary needs, such as vegetarianism, veganism or gluten-free diets. Mental health and well-being: Address the crucial aspect of mental health and emotional well-being. Write about stress management, mindfulness, meditation, coping strategies and overall mental wellness. Offer advice for maintaining a healthy mind-body connection. Provide a platform for discussions on women's unique health concerns, and empower them with accurate information. Sleep optimization: Explore the importance of sleep and strategies to improve sleep quality. Discuss sleep disorders, bedtime routines, relaxation techniques and creating a conducive sleep environment. 02. Find a blog maker Selecting the right blogging platform is a critical step in launching your health blog. You’ll want to choose a blog maker that both simplifies the process of creating your blog and provides other essential capabilities. Here's what to look out for: Opt for a blog maker that includes integrated web hosting . This eliminates the need to find a separate hosting provider, streamlining the setup process. Additionally, look for a platform that offers 24/7 security measures to protect your blog from potential threats and cyberattacks. Opt for a blog that offers the right blog templates. A well-designed blog layout, easy navigation and visually appealing elements contribute to a positive user experience. You’ll want to be able to find a template that suits your niche, and customize it by adding your logo, adjusting colors and arranging content elements as part of your blog design efforts. Opt for a blog that allows you to reinforce your branding. A consistent and cohesive brand presence helps readers recognize and connect with your content. Your branding (as it relates to design) includes elements like colors, fonts, imagery and your blog logo. You can use a logo maker to design a professional logo that aligns with your blog's theme, incorporate health-related symbols, soothing colors or typography that reflects the tone of your blog. Opt for a blog maker that supports privacy and compliance needs.  If your health blog collects personal or health-related information, it’s important to follow regulations like HIPAA (the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), which protects sensitive patient data. Choosing a platform that supports HIPAA-compliant features helps ensure information is handled securely, especially when using contact forms, intake forms or online consultations. When it comes to starting a health blog, Wix is a popular and free website builder that offers an all-in-one solution for creating and hosting your blog. Wix is HIPAA compliant.  This makes Wix a secure and reliable option for nurses and other healthcare professionals who handle patient data, so you can create your site with confidence and maintain high privacy standards. 03. Select a blog name and domain for your health venture Your health blog's name is often the first impression readers have of your brand. A well-thought-out name can convey your blog's focus and personality, making it easier for readers to understand what your blog is about. When choosing a blog name , consider using a blog name generator for initial thought-starters. A generator can provide creative suggestions based on keywords and themes related to health and wellness. While generated names might not be a perfect fit, they can spark ideas and help you brainstorm. Your domain name should similarly be easy to remember, easy to spell and reflect your blog's identity. Ideally, it should include a relevant keyword or a hint of what your blog is about. Keep it concise and avoid using hyphens or complicated spellings. Before finalizing your domain name, check its availability. If it's unavailable, consider slight variations or use different domain extensions like .net, .co or .health. Examples of health blog names to inspire: VitalWellnessJourney.com FitMindBodySoul.com HealthyLivingHub.net NourishAndThriveHealth.com If you really want your blog to stand out, consider a .blog domain extension . It's a clear and unique way to help your blog and content pop. Remember that your blog's name and domain name are integral parts of your brand identity. They'll be featured in your logo, social media profiles and all your online interactions. Invest time in choosing names that accurately represent your health blog's mission and resonate with your target audience. 04. Write and publish blog content Create a content calendar to organize your topics and publication schedule, ensuring a consistent flow of relevant content, including both evergreen and trending subjects. Opt for topics that offer solutions to frequently asked questions and share insights that highlight your expertise. When it comes to your blog format , structure your blog posts for readability. Use headings, subheadings, bullet points and short paragraphs to break up text. While there's no fixed word count, aim for in-depth content that thoroughly covers the topic. Longer blog posts (around 1,500-2,000 words) tend to perform well in search engines. However, you’ll want to focus on providing value rather than meeting a specific word count. As part of planning how to write your blog articles, don't forget to focus on blog titles that pique your readers' interest but accurately reflect your content. Before publishing, proofread your blog post for spelling, grammar and formatting errors. Consider enhancing your blog posts with multimedia elements, too (e.g., images, infographics and videos). Create a blog post checklist that helps you remember all the things to look out for. Above all, prioritize consistency and quality as you execute on your blog plan. Not competitor-first. Not even brand-first. Don’t get me wrong—those last two things are important. However, you should never lose sight of who’s actually reading your blog. Too often, bloggers work in a bubble and just write what they want to write about or what they think they should write about. They end up missing the point of blogging or content marketing in general: to engage people based on what they want to learn about or want to know about your brand. It’s not about you. It’s about them.” 05. Promote your health blog Use various distribution strategies to proactively get more eyes on your blog. You can also consider paid social ads to increase your reach. Build an email list of interested readers who want updates from your health blog. Then, send out regular newsletters containing your latest blog posts, exclusive content and health tips to build a direct connection with your readers. Use guest blogging to collaborate with other health bloggers or websites by contributing guest posts. This exposes your blog to new audiences and establishes your authority in the health community. Also consider participating in health-related forums, groups and online communities. Offer valuable advice, answer questions and share your blog posts when relevant. Building relationships within these communities can drive traffic to your blog and expand your audience reach. As part of your promotion efforts, you’ll need to regularly monitor your blog's analytics to assess its performance. Different ways to build a website from scratch In practice, there are several ways to create a website, each with different levels of flexibility, complexity and ongoing responsibility. Understanding these options helps clarify what building a website “from scratch” really involves and which approach best fits your goals. One option is hand-coding a website using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This gives you full control over design and functionality, but it requires technical skills and a significant time investment. You’re also responsible for everything from responsiveness and accessibility to hosting, performance and security. Another approach is using a content management system (CMS) or more advanced setups like static or headless sites. These methods make it easier to manage content or optimize performance, but they still involve technical setup, maintenance and ongoing updates, often becoming more complex as a site grows. Each method has its place depending on your skills, time and long-term needs. For many people, website builders offer a practical balance, making it possible to create a professional website quickly without the technical overhead of building and maintaining everything from scratch. How much does it cost to build a website from scratch? Website costs depend on design, functionality, content, hosting and marketing. Custom designs, advanced features like eCommerce or booking systems, and professional content increase costs, while DIY builders like Wix are more affordable. Hosting and domains vary by provider, but Wix plans include both plus 24/7 support. Marketing often adds more than the website itself, so plan for ongoing promotion. Start small, scale later, DIY where possible and keep content and design updated. How much does it cost to create a website with Wix? Pros and cons of using AI website builders While AI website builders offer incredible benefits, they’re not without limitations. Here’s an honest look at the pros and cons: Pros User-friendliness: AI website builders are typically designed to be user-friendly, allowing people with little to no coding experience to create websites easily. Many tools generate entire websites for users and allow them to use drag-and-drop interfaces so that they can customize the design. Affordability:  AI website builders eliminate the need to hire professional web developers or designers. Additionally, the subscription fees for AI website builders are often more affordable than hiring dedicated web professionals who support and maintain the website. Efficiency:  Many AI website builders automatically optimize websites for different screen sizes and resolutions. As a result, AI-generated websites are often mobile-friendly from the get-go and provide a seamless user experience across desktops, tablets and smartphones. Expert tip from Marine Levy Belder, Product Marketing Manager at Wix: "When it comes to website building, one of the biggest challenges for business owners is the amount of time they need to create it. With AI, everything is much faster. Business owners can now build their own website, update its content and create images with minimal effort. AI is revolutionizing the world and the technology is here to expand everything we do. Cons Limited flexibility: While many AI website builders offer customization options, they don’t offer the same opportunities as manually coded websites. Users may encounter restrictions in design or functionality. Potential for generic designs:  Some AI website builders rely on a collection of website templates  that are tailored to the needs of users, so the results can look common or generic. Platform dependence:  When using an AI website builder, you're reliant on the platform's continued availability and support. If the service provider discontinues or changes their offering, it will impact your website. Additionally, migrating your website to a different platform might be challenging due to the proprietary nature of the builder. What is AI in web design? An FAQ section for parking and venue rules. Why this works:  It sets a very specific mood (dark mode, neon) that fits the genre. It also prioritizes the most important element—the ticket button—ensuring the page does its job. Be inspired by these landing page examples. How to refine your AI website building results Even with the best prompt, the first time you go about understanding how to design a website with AI , might not be 100% perfect. The beauty of AI builders is that you can keep the conversation going to improve on it. Here are some tips for refining your site after the initial build. Be specific about changes:  Instead of saying "I don't like the colors," say "Change the background to white and make the buttons a softer blue." Focus on one thing at a time:  If the layout is wrong, fix that first. Then worry about the font and then the images. Tackling it in steps helps the website builder understand exactly what you want. Use negative constraints:  Sometimes it helps to tell the AI what not  to do. For example, "Keep the modern layout but remove the large hero image at the top." Ask for variations:  If you aren't sure what you want, ask for options. "Give me three different headline options for the homepage" or "Show me this layout with a different color palette." • What is vibe coding? A complete guide

Turn your ideas into a live website in minutes with Wix’s AI Website Builder →  Vibe coding is a new approach to building software where users create websites and applications by describing the desired functionality, or vibe, in natural language to Artificial Intelligence (this can be an AI website builder or AI app builder), rather than learning coding. This method shifts your role from writing code to managing an AI tool that handles the implementation, effectively allowing non-technical creators to build complex software purely through prompts and iteration. In this guide, you will learn how this trend is democratizing software creation and transforming how products are built. By understanding the mechanics of vibe coding, you can leverage AI tools to turn your creative ideas into usable apps and tools without having to spend years learning traditional programming languages. With Wix Vibe  vibe coding lets you create professional and interactive websites quickly and effortlessly. Using the best vibe coding tools , you can connect data, set up interactions and automate workflows, all while focusing on creativity and user experience. Vibe coding doesn’t have to mean starting from zero. With Wix’s AI website builder, you can generate a full site layout, design direction and professional copy, then fine-tune it your way. It’s the fastest path from idea to a fully built website. TL;DR: What is vibe coding Vibe coding, popularized in 2025 by tech figures like Andrej Karpathy is the practice of talking with AI to write code for you. Instead of worrying about semicolons and syntax errors, you focus on the high-level logic and user experience. Feature Traditional Coding Vibe Coding Input Code Syntax (Python, JS, C++) Natural Language Prompts Required skills Deep technical knowledge Logic, ideas, prompting Speed Slower (manual typing/debugging) Fast (instant generation) Role of the human Writer/Builder Manager/Director Barrier to entry High When it comes to vibe coding, the AI tool you choose (such as the Wix AI website builder , or Base44 AI app builder ) acts as a junior developer. You tell it what you want—for example, "Create a blue button that bounces when clicked"—and the AI generates the HTML, CSS and JavaScript to make that happen. If it looks wrong, you don't rewrite the code, you tell the AI, "The bounce is too slow, make it snappier." Explore how vibe coding principles can also guide how to build an app . Benefits of vibe coding Vibe coding is also fast becoming a popular way to go about prototyping and building MVP (Minimum Viable Products). Here's why: Speed:  What used to take days of coding now takes seconds. You can create a landing page or a simple game in the time it takes to describe it. Lower barrier to entry:  You don't need to know any code. If you can explain logic clearly, you can build software. Creativity:  Developers can spend more time on UI/UX and product fit rather than debugging missing brackets. "The hottest new programming language is English." — Andrej Karpathy Common challenges of vibe coding While it has many benefits, relying entirely on AI to create software is not without risks. Hallucinations:  AI can confidently write code that looks correct but fails to run or uses non-existent libraries. Maintenance difficulty:  If you don't understand the code the AI wrote, fixing a bug that the AI cannot resolve can become a major roadblock. Security risks:  AI might generate code with vulnerabilities if not prompted to follow security best practices. Its important to choose a vibe coding tool that has advanced security practices and infrastructure. Examples of vibe coding How does vibe coding look in the real world. An instant game:  A user asks an AI app builder 'Make a snake game but the snake is a train and the food is passengers.' The AI writes the Python script and the game is playable within seconds. Data analysis:  A marketer uploads a CSV file and asks, 'Create a graph showing the correlation between email open rates and sales.' The AI writes the Python Pandas script and renders the chart. Web design :  A designer prompts, "Create a portfolio page with a dark mode toggle and a brutalist design aesthetic." How to get started with vibe coding Choose your AI builder:  Use AI-native editors like Base44 or Wix's AI website builder for vibe coding a website . Start small with your vibe coding:  Don't ask for, a competitor to Facebook, start with a landing page or similar. Iterate:  Your first prompt won't be perfect and that's OK. Treat the AI like a human—which means giving it feedback. "That's good, but change the font to Roboto," or "This function is too slow, optimize it." Learn about Wix's hybrid website builder: What is Wix Harmony? How much does Wix Harmony cost? Why use Wix Harmony? What is vibe coding FAQ Is vibe coding the same as no-code? No because no-code builders usually just hide code behind a visual interface. Vibe coding actually generates real, raw code (Python, JavaScript, etc.) that you can export, edit and host anywhere. It gives you the power of code without the actual coding. Will vibe coding replace software engineers? It's unlikely as it just replaces a part of the engineering process. Its possible engineers will transition from writing syntax to reviewing and orchestrating AI-generated code. Do I need to know how to code to be able to vibe code? No. However, having a basic understanding of how code works (knowing what a variable or a function is) can help you manage the AI builder better and spot errors when the AI "hallucinates."
