Free website builder Wix.com is running a competition designed to help users promote their Wix websites and engage Wix Community members in an atmosphere of creativity and innovation.
The Wix & Tell contest launched September 15th and will run until October 13th, when one Grand Prize winner and four First Place winners will be announced. The Grand Prize is a new 13 MacBook, a 9 value gift. The four First Place winners will each receive a Wix Surprise Pro Pack, consisting of a 1-Year Unlimited Premium package and a Wix t-shirt. A 0 value gift, this provides a years worth of free website hosting and a slew of other goodies.
To enter the Wix & Tell contest, participants must create a Wix & Tell video of up to 2 minutes in length, demonstrating their Wix website and describing what its purpose is. Entrants must upload their videos to YouTube, and follow further instructions at the Wix & Tell contest site.
Hundreds of excited website owners have already submitted videos demonstrating why they deserve the Grand Prize. Artists, musicians, small business owners and entrepreneurs across a wide range of industries are each presenting their Wix story in the hopes of winning.
Wix is spicing things up as the contest approaches its final week. An email was sent to all Wix users notifying them that the video with the most views on YouTube will win a free package of WixPromote, a service providing targeted online marketing for the users website and/or business. A free voucher worth 0 for advertising with Google AdWords will be included in the WixPromote package.
