The new fonts include A1 Gothic, Ryumin, and UD Shin Go, empowering Japanese users with an expanded range of typography and creative possibilities

Today, Wix announced a partnership with Morisawa, Japan’s leading typeface maker, to expand the range of Japanese fonts available to Wix users and partners. This collaboration brings 200 new Japanese fonts to the platform, offering enhanced design flexibility and empowering creators in Japan to craft more expressive, localized content.

Through this partnership, Wix users have access to a diverse selection of Japanese fonts designed to suit a wide range of use cases, from professional business applications, books and advertisements to creative and personal projects such as games, comics, anime and YouTube subtitles. The expanded font library includes fonts such as A1 Gothic, Ryumin, and UD Shin Go, among others, ensuring that users have access to the typography they need to express themselves and their brand in the Japanese market. Developed with input from the Japanese local market, this font expansion broadens the scope of expression for designers and creators using Japanese, enabling more engaging web experiences.
