Most back-to-top buttons do half the job: they scroll the page and leave the keyboard behind. Somebody tabbing through your site presses one, watches the page jump, presses Tab — and lands back in the footer they were trying to leave. This one moves both. The page goes to the top and so does the keyboard, so the next Tab carries on from your first link. If you would rather focus landed on your main region, a heading or your own skip target, there is a field for it. It also keeps off your content. Before it appears, and whenever something is added to the page, it checks what is underneath and lifts itself above a cookie banner, a chat bubble, a sticky basket bar or the mobile action bar. The phone's home bar is allowed for; two offsets and a switch place it by hand instead. For any page longer than a screen: blogs, long product pages, FAQs, menus, price lists, endless galleries — and owners working through a keyboard-navigation list. What it does not do: it adds one button, not a navigation menu or a progress bar. It collects nothing, stores nothing, loads nothing from anyone else's server and needs no account.
