Classic Editor brings the simple, familiar writing screen you know into your site dashboard: no blocks, no drag and drop, just a clean editor with a classic toolbar and an easy left-hand menu. Write in the Visual tab or edit clean HTML in the Code tab. The second toolbar row adds font size, text color, highlight, superscript, tables, special characters and Find & Replace. Arrange both rows your way in Settings. The SEO & Readability box shows a Google preview and saves your SEO title, meta description and focus keyword, with checks that turn green as you write. Autosave runs every minute, and revisions let you compare and restore any version. Galleries, buttons and videos already in your posts are kept safe and saved back unchanged. Manage your blog with featured images, bulk actions, Quick Edit, categories, tags, comments, writers and post analytics. Choose the editor for each post, or open any post from your blog with Edit with Classic Editor. Products get a classic screen too, with prices, stock, variations and a gallery.
