MarginKeeper checks your catalogue against the cost per item on each product, so you can see what is selling below cost and what sits under the margin you want. A scan runs in the app while you watch it and sorts what it finds into three lists: prices it would suggest raising, problems it is flagging without suggesting anything, and products with no cost recorded, which cannot be judged. You write the policy. A rule sets a margin floor and either reports only, or suggests a higher price from a target margin or a markup on cost, with optional rounding and a cap on how far a price may move. Rules only ever raise a price, and never on their own schedule. Nothing is written until you confirm it, and the confirmation lists the first ten changes in full, from and to, with the rest counted. Each price is read again immediately before it changes, and anything that moved since your scan is left alone and reported. Every write is recorded in a change log, and a successful change can be put back. MarginKeeper is free and reads both catalogue versions. It asks for admin product access because that is the only way your cost per item is returned. It never touches orders or customers.
