Give visitors the search box they expect. Instant Site Search shows results while they type, grouped by products, blog posts, pages, events, bookings and forum posts, with product images and prices. Fewer dead ends: misspellings still find the right item, with a “did you mean” hint when needed. Add synonyms so brand names, local words and abbreviations land on the right page. Pin the item to show first for a term and hide items that should not appear. Autocomplete suggests featured terms, popular searches and matching titles; result tabs narrow the list; when nothing matches, visitors see popular items instead of an empty box. The dashboard shows top queries, zero-result queries and response times, so you can fix gaps in your catalog or content. Setup is two steps: add the platform's free Site Search app so the index exists, then drop the search box into your header and pick colors and result types in its panel.
