Handling Password Resets Via Code

Requests related to working with passwords Can it be made possible to allow users to launch reset password window even if they are logged in. Sometimes users might just want to change their password and have not really forgotten it. If users launch the reset password window when logged in can the email address be pre-filled? Increase the maximum character limit from 15 to atleast 30?
