Wix Studio Community code of conduct
The community is the space where all Studio creators feel welcome to make connections, discover insights, shape the platform and do brilliant things together.
This is where our community code of conduct comes in. It's here to ensure everyone, including the Wix Studio team, is on the same page; to keep the community vision alive and well. To stay aligned with our 7 community values, here are some green flags to follow and red flags to avoid.
Exchange knowledge and embrace new opportunities to go beyond your limits.
Post your thoughts, join discussions and share the knowledge you’ve learned along the way to grow with other creators. Be active in the community and take on new opportunities to expand your creation capabilities.
Don’t gatekeep insights and info that you think may help others in their web creation journeys. However, do be conscious of unnecessarily sharing any of your or your clients’ personal or private info.
Make connections, work together and open doors to endless opportunities.
Seize the opportunity to outsource, collaborate and join forces with Studio creators you may not have connected with otherwise. Embrace your differences in experience and expertise to learn from and help one another—we were all new once.
While we encourage seeking out collab opportunities, this community is not the space for the solicitation of business or commercial self-promotion. When in doubt, head to our community rules and guidelines to make sure you’re on the right track.
Ask questions, never stop learning and drive exploration.
Stay curious and keep the questions flowing, it helps everyone feel comfortable doing the same. The community is a learning-friendly environment—there's no such thing as a stupid question.
Make sure to avoid embarrassing or judging anyone if their questions or answers differ from yours. When you do answer someone’s questions, take care not to make the assumption that everyone has the same experience as you.
Get and give guidance to build each other up and overcome any challenge.
Feel free to reach out to your community members for extra support and to offer your own constructive feedback to help others. You all face similar challenges, so sharing actionable advice could be just the thing to help each other through.
It can be easy to misconstrue feedback for criticism. Be mindful to avoid advice that’s vague, flippant or harsh. In other words, don’t give guidance that you wouldn’t appreciate receiving.
Keep your eyes on what’s out there to fuel your creativity and dream bigger.
Keep the community looking forward by sharing things that spark creativity or get you through an idea drought. Be inspired and inspire others by sharing successes ( and even failures) with one another.
While we're all influenced by others, simply copying or taking credit for another's work and trying to pass it off as your own, isn't the vibe of this community.
Harness the power of community to make a difference, together.
Use your voice and contribute your ideas to make your mark. You hold the power to not only shape the future of your community, but also to influence the Studio platform. Be an active member and make the most of it.
With great power comes great responsibility, so use it wisely. Avoid creating or contributing to a negative atmosphere where community members don't feel empowered to make a difference.

How we handle red flags
If any red flags are spotted, we’ll first ask for the community member involved to resolve the issue as soon as possible. However, if the issue is not resolved or continues, we may take further measures that include removing members from all community channels.
