DESIGN
Its innovative approach made Tedy a well-known brand in Israel, but its digital presence was lacking
For over fifty years, Tedy has been a prominent brand in Israel, spearheading top TV productions and representing talent from numerous fields.
Tedy's visual identity had started to look a bit outdated, so it was time to give the company a polished online presence.
From solo musicians and bands to comedians and TV shows, Tedy's impact on Israel's popular culture has been undeniable.
With such an important legacy, we were all excited to kick off this project and help Tedy create a modern and dynamic digital experience.

Tedy represents a bold image, marked by an iconic red logo. We wanted to preserve this personality so we chose to use big red surfaces, striking typography, vertical text effects and editorial images.
To make the site experience feel new for visitors, we connected databases to randomly select and show different titles and images each time the site was loaded.

Like any talent agency, it was important for our partners at Tedy to make sure each artist had their own space on the site and that they were a key focus of the redesign.
We decided to feature Tedy artists as part of the welcome section using a unique hover interaction. Each of the names leads to the artist’s page that includes all their information: latest press releases and images, videos, upcoming concerts and so on.
Another crucial area of the site was the upcoming concerts section that features live concerts from Tedy's artists and the ability to purchase tickets for shows. For this page, we added a filtering system to help find and choose specific shows.

To deal with Tedy’s need to increase form submissions and leads on the site, we added forms to a variety of pages, making them nearly impossible to miss. The forms are all connected to a database so Tedy's team can easily follow up on incoming leads.
Tedy’s new site made a mark not only in terms of design, but also in SEO and overall performance. The team can finally manage their leads online and their artists have a virtual presence they can be proud of.

BUILDING INFRASTRUCTURE

Before diving into building the site, it’s important to take a closer look at the pages design and outline their sections (i.e: header, footer, welcome, blog, etc.)
Tip: List all sections on your design files
Take your design file and use a short title to describe each section.
It will help you to better prepare for the building process. Don’t be afraid to have too many sections, It would only make your life easier moving forward.
