What is Wix.com?

With Wix, you can create high-quality custom website for your clients that are SEO-friendly, mobile-optimized, fast performing and ready for business.
What is the Wix SEO Battle?
Two SEO agencies will battle for the query “Wix SEO”. The Wix SEO Lovers will create a Wix website and use industry-leading SEO tools from Wix. The Wix SEO Haters, will choose any other platform to create their website. The team that ranks higher on Google for the query “Wix SEO” will take home $25K and the losing team will take home $10K.
The winner will be announced within 2 weeks of the challenge end date on the Wix Facebook page.
How do I apply?
It’s simple. Click “Join the Battle”, fill out the form and submit your SEO agency. You can also apply if you’re a freelancer or consultant. You have until June 6, 2019 to apply. No entries will be accepted after this date.
When does the Wix SEO Battle start?
The Wix SEO Battle between the two chosen teams will start on June 26th, 2019 and will run until December 19, 2019 at 12:00pm ET.
What criteria are you using to choose agencies?
The judge, SEO and social media marketing expert Lukasz Zelezny will choose 1 agency to compete for each side based on the following criteria:

Years of experience
What SEO guidelines should I use?
You’ll need to follow Google’s Webmaster Guidelines here and the contest rules to stay eligible in the Wix SEO Battle.
In addition, you’ll need to open an account with Google Analytics and Google Search Console by July 11, 2019 and add judgewixseobattle@gmail.com as an admin.
