What is the Community Leaders program?
The program fosters collaboration between the most passionate Wix developer community members and the product development teams within Wix. Our goal is to create impactful, multimedia content demonstrating what’s possible with Wix’s suite of developer tools to other community members, while proactively shaping the future of product development at Wix.
What does being a Community Leader entail?
Community Leaders create instructional videos, blog posts, and other content for the benefit of Wix developers worldwide—producing multiple assets monthly, showcasing what Wix developer tools, like Velo, can do.
What qualifications do I need to apply?
Anyone with a passion for Wix developer tools and community development is encouraged to apply—though a deep understanding of web development with Velo is preferred.
What are the perks of being a Community Leader?
As a Community Leader, you’ll have unparalleled access to Velo team members and new product development.

What is the purpose of this program?
Wix strives to create the best experience for developers through our suite of developer tools. To achieve this, we need a dedicated team of Community Leaders producing content, helping other developers and driving community efforts.
How many Community Leaders are there?
We have around 50 Community Leaders in this program, but we’re always looking to grow. We greatly appreciate the quality that comes from maintaining and prioritizing an exclusive group—meaning growth is secondary to ensuring each Community Leader has the best experience possible.
What is the difference between the Community Leaders Program and the Wix Partners and Velo Masters programs?
While the Wix network has several partnership opportunities within different niches, this program is exclusive to developers and developer communities.
Is this a paid opportunity?
This is a volunteer program with an emphasis on shaping the future of the Wix developer community. Your commitment is rewarded through continued access to Wix’s DevRel team, complementary goodies, content amplification via Wix’s social channels, and a lasting relationship with the Wix community. You’re also free to use the Community Leader name as part of your brand, contributing to your growth in the web development marketplace.
How is the Developer Relations team involved with the Community Leaders program?
The Community Leaders program is led and operated by the Developer Relations team here at Wix. We will organize and sponsor all future events (venue, food, drink, guest speakers, etc.) associated with this program.
