Our Story
Design with Purpose
Founded in San Francisco, Zilo Optics was born out of a frustration with mass-produced, fragile eyewear. We set out to create structural, sculptural frames that bridge the gap between architectural precision and daily functional utility.
The Art of the Process
Every frame undergoes a rigorous sixty-step production cycle. From hand-cutting raw blocks of organic Italian acetate to dry-tumbling them in wood chips for seventy-two hours, we prioritize slow, intentional manufacturing. Our process ensures that each piece is not just a product, but a sculptural object of architectural precision and daily functional utility.
