We're a small team of artists who got tired of wading through endless options at big-box stores. So we built the art supply shop we always wanted - carefully curated, obsessively tested, and genuinely helpful.

Gamboge & Gesso started in 2019 in a converted garage studio. Today, we ship to artists around the world, but our mission remains the same: source the best materials, share what we know, and help you make your best work.
