Hi, I'm Elena. I'm a home cook, recipe developer, and the voice behind The Sear. I've been cooking since I could reach the stove (standing on a step stool in my grandmother's kitchen), and I've never stopped. The Sear started in 2020 as a place to share the recipes I actually make at home no restaurant tricks, no fancy equipment, just good food made with care. Every recipe here has been tested multiple times in my home kitchen before it makes it to the site.
