When traveling throughout Italy you’ll find bottles of olive oil for sale almost everywhere you go. Most are overpriced and often times not the highest quality you can find in the country. When I traveled to Naples I looked everywhere I could to find the perfect bottle to bring home and share with my friends and family. After a few days I realized the best olive oils couldn’t be found in the touristy-areas of the city. I got a tip about a family-owned olive farm a few dozen kilometers outside the city. Here’s my experience traveling to that farm and some tips for finding authentic olive oil during your next trip.
