Followed the guide, but my domain is still not working

I gave this message to my domain provider:
''I have built a site on Wix.com. Please connect my domain to their name servers- NS1.WIX.COM (IP address 126.96.36.199) and NS2.WIX.COM (IP address 188.8.131.52)''
They sent me back a guide and I followed it. Its still not working. And they sent me this message:
''This is probably because the IP addresses pointing to the name servers and not on the server at the Wix that you actually need to identify with A records. Have you tried to contact them and ask for exactly what IP addresses you need to identify if you do not want to change the name servers, and instead point the A records?''
I don't really understand what that means? Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Hi Br Neneh,
Thank you for contacting us regarding this matter.
What your domain host sent you is basically a different type of domain connection method which is called pointing.
DNS is the management of your domain – i.e. you use it anytime you point your domain to an IP address, redirect emails to your email host or connect different subdomains to different servers.
Pointing your domain to the Wix IP means that your domain host retains control of your DNS and simply points your domain to the Wix servers.
The difference between pointing to the Wix IP or connecting with name servers is really a difference in who has control over your DNS – Wix or your domain host.
Please Note: Wix does NOT Recommend Pointing
Instead we recommend connecting your domain to Wix using Wix name servers.
Down time when Wix IP changes:
The primary reason we recommend connecting your domain to Wix using Wix name servers is that the Wix IP address might change in order to prevent your site from going down. This happens from time to time when natural disasters, server problem and other problems occur.
In such events, domains connected to Wix by name servers will automatically have their DNS records updated. However, domains that are connected to Wix by IP pointing will not work until you request the new IP# from us and then manually make the changes with your domain host. This will result in a much longer down time.
Less support & assistance: When you connect your domain to Wix by nameservers, we can offer support and assist you in creating any DNS records you might need. Whereas if you connect to Wix by pointing you would need to contact your domain host with any domain/DNS related issues.
Feature updates must be made manually: We can automatically modify your DNS to accommodate any new feature that requires DNS changes. When choosing pointing you would need to manually make these changes with your domain host.
If you wish to connect your domain by the DNS method, please reply back to your host with the original message and explain to them that you wish to manage your records in Wix:
''I have built a site on Wix.com. Please connect my domain to their name servers- NS1.WIX.COM (IP address 184.108.40.206) and NS2.WIX.COM (IP address 220.127.116.11)''.
If you wish to connect by pointing, please follow the instructions here.
We are here should you have any further questions.Best Wishes, Natalie - Wix Support Team

It it even possible to connect my domain using DNS method when my domain is a .dk at the end? Or is my only option to connect?

Thank you for contacting Wix support.
I do not know why your domain provider asked you to connect by pointing but there are many sites on Wix that use a .dk top level domain and are connected by name servers as it is preferable due to the many reasons Nati provided.
Feel free to contact us should you require any further assistance.Kind regards,
