    How-to Article
Important: This information applies to the old Wix Editor. For information about the new Wix Editor, please click here.

You can upload a .gif animation instead of an image.

To upload a .gif animation: From the left side of the Editor, click the Add icon > click Image > select the .gif file from My Images or click Upload Images to upload it from your computer > click Add Images.

The maximum file size for .gif images is 15MB.

You can also upload an SWF animation using the Flash Elements app.
