1 min read
You can copy and paste text from a Word document or another external source to a text box.
The following instructions remove all text formatting and prevent any issues occurring.

To copy and paste text:

  1. Highlight the relevant text to be copied from the original source.
  2. Press Ctrl C (Command C on Mac).
  3. In the Editor, double-click the text box, click where you want the text to be pasted and press Ctrl Shift V (Command Shift V on Mac).
Tip:

If you have already pasted your text into the Editor, try changing the text theme several times, or clicking Reset to Theme to resolve any formatting issues.

If you still have formatting issues:

If you are still experiencing issues when copying and pasting text to your site, first disable any extensions and try again. If this resolves the issue please send us a list of the extensions you disabled so we can further investigate.
If after disabling extensions the issues persist, contact us with the following information:

  • If the text is from an external source, please send us the exact string of text you are attempting to paste (in text) and its font, size and color
  • If the text is from your site, please send us the exact string of text you are attempting to paste (in text) and its location on your site
  • The location on your site where you are attempting to paste the text
  • A screenshot or video of the issue
Once we have the requested information we can assist you further.
