Wix Helps Users Advertise Websites with Free Vouchers for Facebook Ads

Start-up Wix.com is a pinch-hitter for those who wish to create websites of high quality, without hiring a pro web designer or spending valuable time learning how to code. An ideal solution for small to mid-sized businesses looking to expand their online presence and maximize their profits while minimizing costs, Wix has been used for the creation of over 4 million sites worldwide. The company is now sweetening the deal by offering free $50 vouchers for Facebook advertising to users with yearly subscriptions to Wix premium packages.

Users sign up at Wix.com by creating a user name and password. Immediate access is granted to the online editor a free website builder with a graphic drag & drop interface. A diverse variety of design elements can be dropped onto user’s sites in just a few clicks, allowing users to quickly build a website entirely from scratch. Hundreds of free website templates are also available, to which users can add their own text, photos, logos, links and more through the website builder. Publishing is done with a click of a button, and any changes one wishes to make to a website are viewed instantly on the site.

Upgrading one’s site to a premium package grants you full control over the site’s domain, without the Wix URL. Users with premium accounts also get free access to Google Analytics, to track site traffic. The different premium packages come with different features, such as the removal of all Wix ads and increased bandwidth. The eCommerce package lets users turn a site into a fully-functional online shop where products or services can be sold directly from the user’s site.

All Wix users with yearly eCommerce, Combo and Unlimited subscriptions are granted the free $50 Facebook voucher and can retrieve it through their accounts at Wix. Users who upgrade to one of these packages from a free website account are also awarded free $50 vouchers.

Placing an ad on Facebook for one’s website is a powerful promotional opportunity, as the social network hosts over 400,000,000 active members in what has become an online marketplace of ideas, products and services. Creating a Facebook ad allows you to target Facebook users who have already indicated interest in your site offerings, through keywords in profile content, and links to groups or pages with content related to your site.

Wix CEO & Founder, Avishai Abrahami, comments: “The Facebook promotion allows Wix users to tap into their online audiences…We’re giving site owners a strong push toward customers who are already looking for them.”

The Facebook promotion accompanies a similar deal Wix has recently set up with Google, offering users free vouchers for $75 toward Google AdWords. The offer applies to the same premium customers as well free users who upgrade. This translates into Wix giving away $125 worth of free advertising.
