Marketing Designer - DeviantArt

We are:

Where art starts, but that's only the beginning. We’re the movement for the liberation of creative expression. We believe that art is for everyone, and we're creating the cultural context for how it is created, discovered, and shared.

Founded in August 2000, DeviantArt is the largest online social network for artists and art enthusiasts. We’re a platform for emerging and established artists to exhibit, promote, and share their work with an enthusiastic, art-centric community. We have over 45 million registered members and attract over 50 million unique visitors per month. Our members, known as deviants, upload thousands of pieces of original artworks every day–everything from painting and sculptures to digital art, pixel art, films, and anime.

We’re looking for an amazing Marketing Designer to join our in-house marketing department in Hollywood, CA.

You are:

A hungry, humble, and smart Marketing Designer with a well-rounded skill set and an eye for detail. You have a solid understanding of User Interface design and 3-5 years’ design experience, preferably in the entertainment industry (film, television, gaming, etc). You’re a master of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator) and have strong typography skills.

You’re experienced in designing for web and creating full suites of marketing materials that include email campaigns and web banners within the parameters of an established set of Brand Guidelines. You’re well versed in HTML5 and CSS, understand marketing and appreciate art. You’re also very knowledgeable about pop culture and have a strong team-oriented attitude.

Bonus points if you have After Effects skills (bumpers, intros, etc), video editing skills, illustration skills, an understanding of content strategy and get excited about Comic Cons and other related conventions.
