Welcome to the Wix Studio Community Forum!

Our forum community guidelines are used to set some expectations on how to get the most out of the forum, keep the environment healthy and welcoming, and ensure we’re all aligned with our Community Code of Conduct

Our Purpose

The Wix Studio community is an incredibly diverse community, from all different backgrounds and expertise.

We all have something to bring and knowledge to share. A community that grows together is a community that learns together. And because of this, we aim to create a safe, positive environment to do that.

Community privilege

Being a part of our community is a privilege, not a right. Adhering to our guidelines is a necessity for all members. The community team reserves the right to remove anyone at any time.

Community guidelines

  • Search first - the community is constantly sharing. You never know, what you’re looking for may already have been answered.
  • Be supportive - let’s support one another and create an environment where everyone feels safe in.
  • Keep it relevant - read through the pinned topics in each category to better understand what each area of the forum is used for. Keep conversations on topic, as it makes it easier for people to find what they need.
  • Words matter - be respectful. Abusive behavior, hate speech, and offensive content won’t be tolerated.
  • Be patient - we all have to sleep sometimes. If your question isn’t answered immediately, the chances are, someone will have an answer for you soon (they might just be sleeping right now!)
  • Understand the basics - the community is just one of the incredible resources we have to learn and grow. Check out the Wix Studio Academy to get started with Wix Studio.

Topic guidelines

  • Be supportive - get and give guidance to build each other up and overcome any challenge.
  • DO NOT USE ALL CAPS
  • Be clear - share as many details as possible. Give context and the steps you’ve taken so far.
  • Give back - if you know can answer someone’s question, do it!
  • Keep it tidy - Make the effort to put things in the right place, so that we can spend more time discussing and less cleaning up. So:
    • Don’t start a topic in the wrong category.
    • Don’t cross-post the same thing in multiple topics.
    • Don’t post no-content replies.
    • Don’t divert a topic by changing it midstream.
    • Don’t sign your posts — every post has your profile information attached to it.
    • Rather than posting “+1” or “Agreed”, use the Like button. Rather than taking an existing topic in a radically different direction, use Reply as a New Topic.
