YOU PEOPLE ARE NOT SOLVING MY PROBLEM

I HAVE COMPLAINED UNACCOUNTABLY.

TABLE KEEP LOADING SOMETIMES
DUAL ENTRIES ALWAYS
ID AND OWNER ID NEVER MATCHES UNTIL I WORK ON THAT ON EACH AND EVERY MEMBER OF MY WEBSITE

I GET MORE THAT 3000 VISITORS AND MEMBERS A DAY, HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO FIX ALL THAT MANUALLY, OHHH

No way to tell what’s happening without details…

  • How is your database set up?

  • Are you using Wix Code?

  • How is the table defined?
Please provide more information so we can attempt to figure out what’s wrong.

Hi Mattias,

it seems that your issue is collection permissions. The data in collection is set to only be visible for administrator of the page.

You can read more about setting collection permissions here:

https://support.wix.com/en/article/how-to-set-permissions-for-a-database-collection

I hope this helps!

Great and thanks for the very fast answer! - I thought the permissions were for the database, if that makes sense? i mean like when you go to the “site manager” and then to “database” without opening editor.

But i think that is the answer so thanks again

Hmm… i updated the permissions, but it doesn’t seem to work

Permissions actually control who can access the data on the site. To give permissions to access Database from Site Manager you would have to add them as collaborators of the site (essentially giving them Admin permissions).

For permissions to take effect, you will need to publish the site.

Aaahh, that makes sense!

And there it is! Thanks

No problem. Glad it helped!
