We’re trying to create member registration and login pages using the WIX member’s area functionality. We’re able to add a member’s area app to our site, however we have as yet been unable to determine how exactly WIX creates and manages these users/members and their data. All the tutorials in WIX support and posts we’ve seen on this forum haven’t really gotten into specifics on this point. Does WIX store the member’s data, specifically email addresses and passwords, in its own internal back-end storage, or do we need to create a data collection for member data, and manage the security of passwords ourselves? And also in the area of member registration and login, does the member’s area in WIX provide functionality for registration and login pages, or are these pages something we would have to custom-build, implementing the WIX-Users and WIX-Users-Backend APIs?
If the member’s area does provide functionality for registration and login pages, can anyone provide us with an example of how we would get them implemented and running on our website??
