Wix Stores checkout page not working in Firefox

If you add an item to your cart and then go to check out, fill out some stuff and then click on the browsers back arrow to go back to previous page(cart page) to view your cart and then click checkout again. It doesn’t allow the user to proceed with anything. There is no shipping/customer/billing info or place order button or any button to continue to do order. Has anyone else had this issue? This only seems to happen in Firefox btw.

You are best going through Wix Support with this issue as it sounds more browser related than code on your page.

As for using the Firefox browser’s own back button, I would advise against using that as it will try to take the user back to the previous page before you had got to the checkout page, so this in turn could break any code that is running and not allow you to proceed any further or cause something like a timeout error for example.

You would be much better suited trying to add a back button onto your pages and into your code so that the user can go back through the use of code on your website which will be able to place the user back a page without breaking anything.

Otherwise, make sure that you have not got any third party apps installed like adblockers or popup blockers etc on your Firefox browser and try clearing your Firefox browser’s cookies and cache.

I understand what your saying but you can’t tell customers to do that. Especially when most of them are new customers. They barely follow other things that I have on the page. Secondly it doesn’t sound like you know to much about wix stores because there already is a link for back on the wix stores checkout page and I have no control over that page except for putting and icon on there…lol

Oh and BTW I have called wix support and they say I should not use firefox and that I should use another browser…lol…:slight_smile:
