Wix pro gallery support code

I love the wix pro gallery except for one big thing: when you close the expanded mode, it reverts to the top of the page (by reloading I guess). Therefore the user needs to scroll all the way back down to pick up where they left off. What a pain!

Is there some code that can be inserted to overcome this issue?

Or have I missed something fundementally with the wix pro gallery?

I don’t think it can be achived with code… You can scroll on page with location.to https://www.wix.com/code/reference/wix-location.html#to

But in order to use it, you should have a link, where to scroll. Anchor would probably help. but you can’t create new anchors from wix code on specific place, so it won’t work
So you can just message a feature request in support…

Yeah, I’m screwed. Seems like a strange oversite since their previous galleries don’t suffer from that issue.

You can try asking in review section for pro gallery. They usually answer there
My account → app market → pro gallery app (search for it in search box) → review tab → add this question

Hello and thank you for your feedback! The issue with the gallery closing to the top of the page is a bug and should be fixed in an upcoming version. The videos are meant to only have sound in expand mode, but we will add your request to enable sound in the thumbnails as well as the comment idea to our feature request list. :slight_smile: read less
