User Form Not Enterable

I have created a form as identified in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyMsDTwge18 . This was all pretty straight forward. However, when I went to access it, none of the fields are enterable. I saw a post from 2017 that talked about this and permissions were mentioned. I don’t see how it’s that. Here’s my test form:

Here’s the permissions for the dataset:

Here’s the data collections permissions:

Any idea why the text fields and submit button would not be enterable?

So you are using the youtube video for this tutorial.

Well when you create a dataset make sure that you choose form submission like they have done in the video and in the tutorial itself.

 Select Form Submission under the permission settings.

Thanks for your feedback. I have now done this. But, it doesn’t change anything. And, those aren’t the settings I want. What’s interesting to me is the form is editable in Preview, but not after being published.

@lmh

Have you synced your dataset from sandbox to live?

In the preview mode you are working in the sandbox option, however when you publish your website all users are then in the live environment.

Also, make sure hat your dataset is set to write only or read and write and not read only.

@givemeawhisky , after some testing, the form is ONLY editable when the dataset is set to write only. Read/Read & Write wouldn’t work. This stuff seems easy enough. But, it just doesn’t seem to work. :frowning: Thanks for your help!
