Updating checkboxes

I am new to building websites so please bare with me, I am not sure if the idea that I have is even doable.

I am trying to create a website that lists the pool of vehicles that our company uses to show internal members of staff if they are available to be used or not.

I have created check boxes next to each of the registrations for this purpose, I have password protected the website.

The problem that I am facing is that everytime the website is reloaded the checkboxes are reset to default. Is there anyway that a member of staff can change the tick box and it still be possible to all other members of staff logging in from different computers?

Hi Michael,

Checkboxes have a “Checked by default” setting that is itself checked by default when you first add the checkbox to the page. So, select the checkboxes one at a time and choose settings to change the default setting.

Thank you for your reply and help. I have unchecked the “checked by default” but now the check boxes i have placed on the website now reset to being unchecked if i refresh the website.
