So back to the basics. Because I think there is a Tutorial message I may have missed or misunderstood. Continuing from a different thread that started with 'submit' button not working which then lead to "next" and "previous" button not working. The response I received was because I have a dynamic page.
This is the Tutorial on how to display data from a collection: https://support.wix.com/en/article/tutorial-displaying-data-from-a-database-collection
When following all the steps exactly as written: no where does it say WHAT type of page this does and does not work on.
On the tutorial for the dropdown list:
It does not talk about the setting labeled 'manage drop down list' shown when clicking on the drop down element. The tutorial does not explain you have use 'one or the other', basically. I connected both, so my form didn't work.
And lastly the Video tutorials on Code should be either implemented or 'linked' to the support (help center) articles. The video tutorials not only list (the almost exact steps) but also show a video (which MANY many many designers find very useful) especially with such a new 'high level' product/feature like Wix Code.
Video Tutorial Articles: https://www.wix.com/code/home/tutorials-custom-form
I know there are articles in Wix Code forum area, in the Wix support area, and even YouTube videos. So it's like having answers 'all over the place', but takes a WHILE to track down the answer. And even when you finally tracking down what you THINK is the answer ---- it is still missing bits of information that actually get you to the correct solution. For some reason I feel it's a bit unorganized at the moment. (For example my dynamic page: I had no idea I could not use the 'next' and 'previous' buttons on my dynamic page because the article I read did not specify WHAT type of page did allow this native function to work. NOW I know, that it is possible with a bit of Code.)
