Why there isn’t a way to trigger an automation with custom code, I am submitting my data manually, how to I set up an automation? - I am using Zapier but that’s kinda like non sense of Wix, no?

Just use the Wix Automations feature. So much easier.
I think asker was already trying to use Wix Automations, but the custom form doesn’t work.
Seems that it will only show up as custom form in Wix Automations, if you connect a button to the submitaction of a dataset.
Now if you don’t want to bind to a dataset, because it is custom for a reason, I haven’t found a way either…
If you code a button to submit a form, there is no way for wix automation to see your custom form. Is there any workaround?
Wix hates people who use code.
