On my client’s site I’ve built a guestbook (“Gästebuch”), with a form to submit the reviews (“Eintragen”). So you add your name, the message and optionally upload an picture. After you push on the “submitbutton”(“Senden”) you will be redirected to a “thank you page” and your informations will be put in the database, which is connected to a repeater. On the desktopversion everything works fine, you can add your information and will be redirected to the thank you page. On the mobile version, you can add your information, but after you clicked on the submit button you won’t be redirected to the thank you page. I’ve tried to renew the button, relinked the button, set a link to the button, reconnected to the database, nothing worked…So on the mobile version you have to refresh the site after you pushed the submit button.
Is it a bug? Or do I have to code something special for the mobile version?

I am running into the same problem on mobile now. Here are a couple things I did to try to fix it: I went back into the desktop editior and verified that I had the button properties (as it related to the database) set up as a submit button that redirected to a thank you page and the button properties itself (as if it were just a regular button) set to have that button (independent of the database function) link to a page- the thank you page.

Hey Brittany, unfortunately no. I’ve never received an answer from wix after I’ve filled out the form for a bug…So I made a workaround (I’ve checked the same things as you, and it didn’t work also…): I submitted a “success message” and wrote "thank you for your message and under it “close”). The word “Close” I’ve linked with the “thank you page”. I think after the people pushed the submit button, they don’t look after the “X” to close the lightbox, I think they more likely see the success message.
Thanks for the link, but it’s not quite the same problem, because we’ve only got this problem on the mobile version. Desktop version works fine, even it’s a regular page. But maybe it would work for mobile with a dynamic page, I have to try it. Thanks:-)
hey I had same problem, but not with submit button, but simple button directing on another website. it was not working on mobile but all other buttons were working.
I duplicate the other button which was working and just change its text and design and now it works.
