Site where can user apply to a trip

Hello everyone,
we are a website for organize trips.
Through WIX we would like to allow our customers to register for a selected trips.
Wix application for events doesnt cover for us all of the functionalities which we need, so we will do this through WIX forms. We arent programmers, so this is a challenge for us.
We need support and help how can we do this through forms, and if there is any other possible way to make trips in Wix

The one who will be the organizer of the trip will be entering data through the prepered form and this trip will appear on the website. On this site for trip will be available all planed trips where users can choose the trip and on which they would like to sign up - like on Wix Trips.

The form will contain information:

  • name of the trip
  • date of planed trip (departure (date and hour), arivals (date and hour))
  • date to which the user can registers on a trip (information data - date and hour)
  • trip program
  • time schedule with points where we will stop
  • galary of photos
  • google map
  • price
  • limit how many users can sign up for a trip
  • button for register to trip
    (1. the button communicates with the date by which the user can apply on the trip. When this time expires, the user cant no longer sign up for a trip and the button fro register must disappears or no longer is active for click.

On the trip can apply the members who are registered on the our site.

So, this is all what we want to have on our site, and our questions is, if we can easily make this in wix and how? :smiley:

You can do all of that and more on your Wix site, some can be done through the use of already made Wix apps and the rest of it will have to be done through code.

I suggest you have a look at Wix Help: https://support.wix.com/en/ and get yourself familiarised with using Wix Editor and see what you can do by yourself with a little bit of reading and research and trial and error.

There are many Wix tutorials that you can use to help guide you through the design and code of your pages which will go through step by step telling you what to do.

Just click the Documentation link in this forum’s header and you will be given lots of examples in the Articles, Examples and Video Tutorials sections.

Plus, keep a link to the Wix Code API section, as you will regularly be using it.

Finally, yes this forum will help and guide you when you have code issues with your site, it won’t sit down and plan out your site for you and complete all the needed code for it.

This is something you will have to do yourselves with a helping hand from other forum users if ever needed.
