Similar Menu in Wix

Hi all,
I’m really liking Wix, however, I could not find any templates that support menu like the one in the photo. Is this a setting i need to change?

Hello,

Yes, this is easily doable in Wix even if some templates do not have it. However this is not a wix code issue, and this forum is meant for just that. If you have any trouble with your code while trying to do this, post it here with a description!

HI Majd;
I’m new to Wix. How do I do it? can you refer me to documentation or guide on how to do it?
I haven’t done anything with code and I don’t know where to begin. In BigCommerce which I’m also evaluating at the moment, it was very easy to do. In Wix however, there was nothing in user guide and other documentation on how to do it.
You’re help is appreciated.

Hello Fadi,

First you would have to make a custom menu with buttons. On hover give the buttons that greyish background and show the hidden container that contains the submenu for that item. This hidden container will just be a container that contains the submenu design and links that you create.

  1. Create a container that has a sub menu. Do this for every main menu item that requires it
  2. Create a custom menu with buttons that have same background as page background so no borders or lines will show
  3. Make that button change color to container color AND show its respective container.

Not sure we understand each other, What i’m looking for is multi-column drop down menu. I contacted support and they said this feature is not yet available in Wix. You can vote for this feature here:

While its not a Wix feature, you can create a customized version of the above menu. It takes some work arounds but it is doable.
