I just started a new job at a traditional business company (Not a lot of tech savy people here) and they're in need of a new website and tasked me to do it (myself or hire someone else online). I can understand basic coding but I have previously found WP website maintenance a hassle as I never put in enough time for the learning curve.
The business is a traditional manufacturer business that does B2B and not B2C (which means the website wouldn't really need an e-commerce portion).
From what I see, I think this will be a static website that will have to put the following:
Catalog of the products we manufacture and a button for them to reach out to our sales team for more information
Basic Company information including showcasing our existing customer (basic static marketing stuff)
Website needs to be multilingual (Including English and Mandarin)
A news section to put our investors relation information to adhere to business laws
Customer in-take form so our sales team can reach out to them.
Some sort of SEO capability so our name get returned when people search our industry
Easy to maintain (as it seems like I will be the one doing it)
With those basic requirements, and I don't foresee the needs to expand, should I try to do this on a website builder or would it still benefit from going to WP from the get go?
