Any thoughts on how to setup a newly purchased domain (via WIX) so that traffic goes to a specific folder in my main domain? If it can’t be done via WIX, I can find a workaround by setting up a server with a redirect to the folder … I was just hoping that it could be done within WIX
I am not sure it is possible using Wix at the moment. You can point two domains at a single Wix site, but I am not sure if we will do a redirect from the secondary to the primary (the first) domain automatically or not. If we do not redirect, you can use the wix-location to check what is the current domain and redirect the user to another page. With some wix-location magic you may be able to get to the result your looking for.
Is there a function that I can call to retrieve the URL a user typed in to get to my page? If I can get this, I can then call the wix-location.to redirect to send the user to the correct landing page.
