Responsive page header

Hi everyone!

I think that I’ve asked too many questions lately in the forum, and I guessed that I should also share the good stuff, not just the questions.

I think this is a very helpful tip, you create a strip, assign different widths to the columns, and set it as full page size, after some trial and error, to find out the specific column widths (here shown with 29% on both sides) you can have a pretty great looking menu in the full display of the website.

Thanks!

Hi Nicolas,

Thanks for your share. It seems really good!

Could you please specify your solution into more details? My scenario is exactly the same as yours as it also has a Logo on the left, a horizontal menu bar at the mid, and another element on the right.

So did you have three columns at the stripe in total? Or do you mind to share your site address so I can see the effect?

Thanks a lot
Jack

Hey so I took a look at what they did, and attempted to figure it out, if you go to add elements > choose strip> then drag it directly over your header it’ll ask if you want to add it to the header, and yes thats what you want. Then click on the strip and go to edit / design or layout, somewhere in there it’ll ask you if want to add a colum, select that and it’ll split your header into two colums. you’ll have to go back to the colum menu if you would like to add a third or however many you like.
