Regarding iframe in blog posts and main blog page

I’ve looked at the HTML code of the Wix Blog app, and the single blog posts and the main blog page are all show content in iframe. I’ve seen other wix websites where the content appear as part of the page and not embedded in an iframe, is there any way to change how the content is displayed, I want it to appear in the page, not in an iframe.

I have noticed the same thing on my website (I have a Premium subscription).
Sometimes this has an impact on the way the page is loaded.

The problem might be related to how Google scan th page, it has no content, and I don’t want to relt on googk scanning this iframe or not for indexing. Contend should be in the page itself.

I have the same problem and my blogs are not ranking high at all. I had to delete the blogs and just create normal pages instead of them (it really does affect the SEO!!!). The blog had nice features, which I lost… I really hope Wix will change this iframe non-sense.

Hi All, for google we serve an SEO version of the page without iframe. The SEO version is optimised for Google bot to scan easily.

This is called “cloaking” and is considered a violation of google’s guidelines

It looks like Wix serves the mobile version of the blog/website: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:MfRDSpIIUOkJ:https://www.isleofdinosaurs.com/post/music-for-doing-gamedev+&cd=7&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ro
I strongly believe this is not normal.

Wix sites are in full compliance with Google (and other search engines) requirements and guidelines.

Einat from Wix Blog sent me a great link from Google about dynamic rendering which should ensure a good nights sleep to everyone. Make sure you see the section Dynamic rendering is not cloaking .

We are rendering the same iframe content, just in a static HTML version.
This is done in accordance with Google guidelines about dynamic rendering and is not considered cloaking. See more info on google official page: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/guides/dynamic-rendering

Ok, this answers my question. Thank you for the explanation and links.

looks like the iframe is gone now, was this change announced somewhere?

This is an old post and is not code related, therefore it is being closed.
