All of a sudden I can’t get into my uploaded images. It’s been working fine for the last year, but just a few days ago I noticed the problem.
I click on “add”, I click on “image”, I click on “My image uploads” - and WIX locks up. I’ve cleared my cache, didn’t help. Re-booted the computer, nothing.
Any help would be appreciated.

You should update Firefox as it seems to be quite out of date. Firefox Quantum is much faster and more powerful. See if that fixes anything.
David, thank you for your suggestion. I’m running an older OS on my Mac, 10.6.8 and as far as I know, the version of Firefox I’m running is the last version which will work on my OS.
The odd thing to me, is that we started using WIX last March, built the site, updated the site regularly, all on this same OS and Firefox version. We were even able to add images 2 months ago without problem. But now, something happened which prevents me from even getting to my uploaded images.
Unfortunately as time goes on, older versions of software typically get less and less attention. I’d recommend you install Brave browser if it’s Google’s privacy grab that bothers you. Hopefully since it’s a WebKit browser and not Mozilla it will work for you. Or you could maybe try Waterfox/Pale Moon though I don’t know that they’d work any better than Firefox.
Edit: actually it seems most of these require OSX 10.10, so unless you need to use Adobe products, I’d highly recommend upgrading to Linux 
This version is very lightweight for older machines, while this one requires a better system but highly resembles Mac experience.
I think your image is in jpg format and has not moved to png so it is so troublesome. You should use the tool to convert images from jpg files to completely free png suppliers JPG4PNG.COM
