I’m trying to upload multiple collections on a single page with each in it’s own table. We are hosting a convention and we have a hefty schedule that is first sorted by date then time. I couldn’t get a single data collection with all days, times and activities to work because the data set came in all jumbled (not how I had it organized by date and time). I decided that each day should have it’s own dataset so I’m not importing events that are out of order.
Is it possible to have multiple datasets on a single page? See the attached screen shot of the initial page I made…I entered that all in by hand and it doesn’t render nicely on mobile. Each date would have it’s own set with the correct times.
OR does someone know an easier way to do this? I’m all ears.
Yes, you can create multiple datasets on one page. There’s so many things you can do in in terms of formatting this, so it’s really up to you and your preferences. One idea is to create a slideshow and have one slide for each day. Have one button for each day outside the slideshow and when the button is clicked the corresponding slide/day is shown on the slideshow.
Another option is to simply create PDFs of your schedule and have users click a button and download the schedule to print and share easier. To only use this would eliminate the need for a dataset, but I can definitley udnerstand why you want a schedule built on the website.
You can probably do a combination where you can have a button that says “Print Monday Schedule.”
