Migrating 5,000 posts to the old blog

Hi All
I will be migrating an existing magazine website from drupal to wix. The magazine archives contain about 5,000 articles. I have this archival content in a clean database.

I can either

  1. use wixcode and house the articles in a database, or

  2. use a keystoke recorder to automate posting the articles to the old wix blog
    I have a couple of questions for anyone who has this type of experience…

Would there be any performance issues with the old wix blog with this number of posts?
Are there any other limitations that might occur with either scenario?

Also … is there going to be any wixcode access to the old blog in the future?

Hello JC,

Although I do not have experience in this I can safely say that there will be no performance issues based on the amount of blogs. In regards to your second question, I would recommend using the Wix export/import method to transfer all this data. If you can manage to turn your previous data into an excel file you can easily import it with a click of a button into wix - here
