If I want a snippet of js to run on every page, how would I do that? I want to just embed it into the header or footer - how does one do this?

You can do it by adding an HTML component (like this: Wix Editor: Embedding a Site or a Widget | Help Center | Wix.com) and dragging it into the header or the footer.
BTW, you can also do that with Wix Code by opening the code section on the page bottom, switch to the ‘Site’ tab, and put your code there.
