Is it possible to use Wix Code to add the google translate plugin into our Wix Websites?

Of course, go through the Google Setup and you will end up having a code chunk from them looking like the below code.
Add a HTML Component to your site and paste in the code in that html components code editor. Voila!
Make sure you place the html component where you want the dropdown to be seen.

Hey Andreas, I’m sorry but that method doesn’t work. I’ve done it before and the page won’t translate. Do you have a working example?
On the other hand, is there something Wix Code could do to make it work?

I would suggest having those viewing your site to have the Chrome Google Translate extension (Google Translate - Chrome Web Store)
You can try using the Google Translate REST API:

Hey Tomer, after gaining some more experience with Wix Code and the 3rd party API integrations I tried to give it a second chance at this Google Translate REST API. However, I was stopped by the client libraries that need to be installed Client libraries overview | Cloud Translation | Google Cloud
How would you approach this? where do we install these libraries. Do you know if Wix Localization is working on improving the translation functionalities for the platform?
