How to set element coordinates?

Could someone please explain how can I set the coordinates of element before showing it?

In the editor, go to Tools and enable the toolbar. you can set the size and position of most elements here

I would find this useful too, as I have input fields linked to a database column that I want to re-use but placed in another part of the screen when onChange.
