I want to ask what If I replace the custom login button by a ready-made Wix login button place on Header. Once they login they can click to the “Profile page” button to view their profile dynamic page (this button don’t need to be hidden once user log out as I place it on member-view only site).
So how can I custom the code to make this happen?
I have read article on Wix CMS: Linking to a Dynamic Page | Help Center | Wix.com but seem like it doesn’t help as my dynamic page require member ID and appears custom contents based on each user
The article suggests adding a custom login/profile button, instead of the built-in log in button, since it allows you to create the special collection entry for each user once he registers to your site.
If you replace the custom buttons with the built-in one you will lose this ability, which means that in some cases your site visitors may see an error while trying to access their profile page.
Hi Ido, I have the same question as Janet. I need a code that will direct to a dynamic profile page when clicked based on the users ID after checking a database for their email address. I’m using the built in member login instead of making a custom button. I won’t have the issue of missing info since the user would have completed a custom form I built before becoming a member. Any suggestions? Thanks!
