How to design this kind of dynamic page? Automatic screen filling for different screen sizes possible?

Hi,
I just noticed this awesome design on the Wix code page about making “Dynamic Pages”

I was wondering how to make a similar design for a page that fills the screen automatically. Is it made with columns, or page split? HOW???

This is a single column that is stretched to full width with a video inside. Can you expand on what your looking to do?

Hi Majd,
Ok I didnt quite get how that would adapt dynamically to different screen sizes.

So basically, what I’m trying to achieve is to have a huge screen filling layout like that, where I would have a product image on the left, and some description to the right.
And I want the height also to adjust automatically to fill the screen if possible.

I cant use the Wix stores app though because mine is not a physical or digital product, and Im having to create my own custom checkout process.

Hello Sameer,

There is an option called stretch to full width in wix that covers the entirety of the users screen: Wix Editor: Stretching an Element to Full Width | Help Center | Wix.com

As for the design it is made using strips and columns. Here’s more info: Strips and columns | Help Center | Wix.com

Check out the strips elements in the adding element tab in the wix editor, there is similar design in there as well.

Thanks a lot for your directions. I was wondering if a height filling is also possible like a lightbox overlay does. But this should work for now.

Bump. This is exactly what I want to know. How can I have a ‘page’ fill the screen on a long scroll site, and anchor the start of the next ‘full screen’
