Hello,

Can i see your code? What is wrong with your menu?

I am trying to create an effect as shown in the video: Wix Code | How to Create a Frozen Header That Changes as Visitors Scroll - YouTube i used the exact same codes that is shown in that video but it doest seem to work, i tried it almost 6 times and no luck.

Try my tutorial to double check your work and/or try a different approach …

How old is this tutorial? Seems wix are telling me it is all broken now?

Wix has created 2 header tutorials / codes since I first created my tutorial. (So in total 3 different methods have been tried)

Since then, Wix made some changes to their system / code that, for whatever reason, caused different things to stop working as they did before.

Of course, sometime in between them creating their own tutorial and breaking the code, Wix released native header settings so that you can add a few types of header animation.

I wrote an article about it a couple months back regarding what happened: https://support.totallycodable.com/en/article/frozen-header-is-not-working-on-wix-wix-code-and-corvid

Hi Nayeli, you’ve probably already seen this, however they did realise a fix to this months ago.

Just a shame nobody bothers to search for it through this forum and find it quicker than waiting for help on a new but same question.

like here also this week!

@givemeawhisky Yup true to all of the above.

And yes, I have seen their solution fix, I actually reference Wix’s official post regarding the topic in my article as well.

But as you mentioned … sometimes people don’t really search for their answers … they prefer to ask and be told. So … that is why I wrote the article and blasted it out to my followers …
