I have recently finished my wix site (https://ricardochambel.wixsite.com/chambizango). I'd like to make sure that what I want is possible and simple to do:
What I want is to - after clicking on an image/element and being directed to the corresponding page, and then clicking back to go to the previous page - have that page located at the same image/element I had clicked. Sort of like automatic anchoring, so that, whenever I hit return, I have the page centered at the same image I clicked previously.
So, when guests hit the back/return button, the website displays, at the center of the screen, the element/link they previously clicked on, instead of going back to the top of the page.
For example, on a google search: 1 - I click a link from the google search results; 2 - I hit the back/return button; 3 - Once I am at the previous page, google centers the link I clicked on step 1, instead of going back to the top of the search results page. This enables me not to have to scroll down so that I click on the next link on the list. Thus - if a guest is going through my website, clicks an image/link and is redirected to another page, then clicks Back - they wouldn't have to scroll down each time they click on Back/return. The website automatically centers the last element/image/link they had clicked.
My website isn't doing this. Is there a simple way to make sure it does?
Thank you very much!
